I’ve already got a stack of cards mostly done! I just need to add the ephemera and sentiments. My cards are fall themed. At first it felt strange to make them in Feb, but I imagine that they’ll work just fine for Cards for Cubs since they will give out birthday cards in every season. I had a half used Doodlebug paper pad I wanted to work with

I just realized I didn't post my cards yet. Here they are. Using up my valentine's stash. The happy valentine's day sentiments are cupcake picks. They are light and not too dimensional so perfect for the little monkeys to hold them. http://instagram.com/p/C22fV1cr26G

I made 15 cards (uneven number because I subbed in an extra piece of striped paper for the cross strips) with Doodlebug ephemera instead of the half circle and a strip sentiment. I used my doily die to cut a couple of vellum pieces so maybe that counts for the bonus. Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I'm probably going to use a 12x12 double sided paper from this collection to make another set. I still have quite a bit of ephemera although I used as many of the cutest big pieces here as I could.

This one is so fast once you get the measurements stuck in your head. I just do two full width strips off the top and then turn and do the rest of the cuts, then use the offcuts from the wide strips as flags inside at the end. It makes the cutting go very quickly and I can fudge the size of the cross piece if I need to. All of my 6x6 papers have been a tiny bit short top to bottom but it hasn't mattered at all. I cut another 6 sheets down last night in some downtime before dinner. SO quick!

The rest of my Doodlebug fall sheetload. I used 5 pieces of double sided paper and just matched up the front and back on each card to make it even quicker. Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

I was going to say this is my last bunch with this sketch, but actually I might copy justjac and use the Doodlebug winter pad freebie I got to make winter birthday cards... and this sketch is so fast and easy I may as well keep going. This set was using one sheet of 12x12 double sided paper to make 8 cards. I also added some patterned paper background pieces. Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Can't stop, won't stop... This is a really great Sheetload for busting through a bunch of 6x6 paper (or in this case a sampler pack freebie) and I'm going to use up another paper pad that's been hanging around too long now that I'm done with these Thanks for the inspo to use this for b'day cards justjac ! I never would've thought of it... For some reason seeing your cards, even though they're actually holiday cards, reminded me that people have birthdays in winter too! http://instagram.com/p/C35rjf1PdqO
