Anyone use one? Suggestions welcomed
Harper had some bouts of diarrhea since a couple weeks ago and when I talk to the vet today, they suggested it. Of course one is the one that they sell and the other one was a Purina one, so just wondering if anybody uses one

Purina Pro Plan FortiFlora. Our vet recommended it. You need a prescription. It has really stopped the sensitive stomach our lab had.

Not to argue but I ordered Pro plan from Amazon. Had on monthly subscription. Maybe you had a stronger dose but I did not have a prescription. Was recommended by my vet but did need prescription

I used to use Purina ProPlanFortiFlora for my old man cats. They really liked it and it helped with diarrhea. I got it from Amazon, didn't have an Rx.

I just give Orla the same yogurt I eat—plain full-fat Chobani—a healthy spoonful in her dinner.

I have given my dog rehydrated goat’s milk, either on his food (a dehydrated raw food) or just a bowl of warm milk for years. My vet recommended it when I first took my dog to his as a puppy. Goat’s milk had many beneficial properties and helps with digestion, diarrhea, and is an anti inflammatory that helps with painful arthritis in older dogs. You might want to look into it as a natural probiotic for your dog. I buy a can of the goat milk powder from Chewy. It wasn’t dissolving in the warm water very well so I purchased one of those battery milk frother that you can get on Amazon for under $10. It works perfectly to incorporate all of the powder and makes a nice foamy mixture that I then pour on his dehydrated Primal cubes.

Sorry I thought it was with a RX since his food is and I sent it into Chewy.

Yes the pro plan is over the counter. It was hard to find. My dog has passed so have not looked for it recently. Hopefully supply is better. I ordered from Amazon on monthly subscription. Made a huge difference for her poop.
