Another love language is Acts of Service. People who "speak" this language offer and give help with chores and problems, always ready with a helping hand. And they feel especially loved when someone shows up to help them! Our challenge for #8 is to scrap about something someone has done for others or something that you have done for others. Or maybe people working together to accomplish something. If you can sneak in the word HELP or similar word(s) that fits, too.
Here is my sample LO, with pic's of my dd and dgs helping--as they do every year--put up and decorate the Christmas tree. I am so grateful for all the help we get from them, even more now that they have moved closer to us.
My twists are colour related. So this week I would like to see some BLUES!

Another fabulous prompt, I'm sure I have photos to suit this great challenge.
And to repeat what I wrote in the Flick gallery.... Oh that paper! I am in love! ๐๐ฉต๐๐

I "gutted" it to allow for the white cs overlay so I could use the inner pieces for the "3rd" layer. I see lots of people doing that and keep thinking I should try it! Great prompt for sure, I'll have to think about this one and see what I have.

grammadee I am very tempted to buy that paper pack, then scan or photograph it to use as digital papers! There is a local supplier here that is selling the pack for $36, plus $10 shipping. But the idea of paying $46 for something that would cost me less than $5 if it were digital...... ugh!

But AussieMeg, think of all the fun you would have with it! Doodlebug doesnโt have digital designs?

But AussieMeg , think of all the fun you would have with it! Doodlebug doesnโt have digital designs? No, most companies don't do digital. And those that do, like American Crafts, charge SO much more than dedicated digital stores. For the $46 I would have to pay for the 12 pieces of paper, I could get about seven full kits, each with 12+ papers and 100+ elements. I might just have to try to make my own, using the same colour scheme. I just know I will be dreaming about those gorgeous papers!

Untitled by BreetheFlea, on Flickr The photo was acquired from my dd's school weekly digital newsletter, which is why there's only one photo, and it's not a very good one. Papers are Photoplay Mad for Plaid and DCWV. It was kind of fun to thread buttons again (not!) it's been a while, I couldn't have naked buttons on my page This one was fun to make, and a good excuse to scrap this photo

What a wonderful page, breetheflea, to recognize her service: even though the photo was not the best, the story IS! Love the retro look of this with the floral design and the buttons. Fits in beautifully with her knitted hat. (And I can't just glue "naked' buttons on, either!)

I think this one will work - my older kids working together to build a raised garden bed - and I actually got the twist as well
