Well, I absolutely loathe that man and a lot that his "church" seems to represent - but I sincerely hope everyone is OK. Although Abbott saying something like "Places of worship should be sacred" meaning safe and free from this kind of crap sure rings badly. EVERYWHERE needs to be that kind of sacred.

Maybe people who owned other humans and would be bewildered by cars and electricity did not know everything in perpetuity 200+ years ago |

Osteen and his church prey on the poor and desperate and take money they can ill afford to give. Awful that they would be further victimized by someone with a gun. Perhaps Ted Cruz will suggest that they need to have only one door to prevent these kinds of things from happening in the future. |

Why would the shooter take a child to shoot up a place? If it's true that the gun was an Ar15 and the intent was to harm a lot people, she certainly didn't practice with it at all. It's being reported Free Palestine was written on the gun. Did the church ever preach on the war?
This doesn't make sense, but it never does

One of the charges was illegal possession of firearms, and she was still allowed to purchase legally. I’ve also seen a report that she has a history of mental illness, with police involvement, but not specifics of the illness from a good source. I firmly believe that some people with mental illnesses should not have access to weapons, and I say that as someone with bipolar disorder. |
