I just watched this video from WRMaker and didn't really find anything I could use in my crafting. Are all of the good ideas already out there? Maybe I just have enough stuff. Is there anything you'd find useful in your craft room? I did like the large paper cutter that cut up to 180 pieces of paper, but I wouldn't use it enough to make it worth the price tag. www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1sFuW42Frs

I get the feeling that what is old is now new again. I still have my grandmother's electric scissors from the days when she owned a clothing boutique and designed and made clothes!

I like the 3 way layer punch & the wrapping paper gadget.

I watched that video a few days ago. Nothing appealed to me except those two arms that hold the background paper for project photo-taking. But I can live without it. I don't have paper that big anyway.

I saw a few things that looked interesting, The So Easy Pierce and Stitch kit, the charm stapler and the kit to make a custom stamp although it’s a bit pricy. I may get the electric scissors to replace the one I somehow managed to lose a longtime ago.

Interesting, seems pricey but doesn’t everything nowadays
I have an older version of the typeset custom stamp. I have an older version of the stitch hole wheels.
I’m interested in the photo polymer custom stamp but I think their system & size is too limited, you can’t even do a full card base with that if you wanted a background stamp. So it’s probably not for me anyway.

The chunky staples are coming back? I remember those the first time around. I didn't love them back then. I don't see myself investing in those again.
The notch punch is different than the BasicGrey one I had way back when.
I still have my Sew Happy handle in a drawer somewhere.
The cinch paper cutter seems really cool, but I don't have the space or would use it enough for the cost.
The storage bag is a dime a dozen on any website, but now with a WeR logo. The Gift Wrap Hub I think also already exists.
I have plenty of ink pads, but why did they have to create their own awkward shape?

Nothing there I’d get. Either I’d never use it or too many steps to complete.
However it was a nice walk down memory lane. I remember having some very similar things back in the day:
Making Memories had a magnetic stamp that had individual metal backed letters. You had to put them on the stamp to make words. Total pain to use though. Didn’t line up well.
Basic Grey had a notch cutting tool. It had a tube shaped base and with interchangeable cutting pieces. I remember it didn’t work very well. You had to push down really really hard. A lot of people had the same issue.
I also had a light box to trace flat metal stencils. Thankfully die cutting machines were invented.
EK Success had the Fastenater which had decorative staples.

i love how WRMK has evolved into a tool company but i don't like the "pink tax" aspect of repackaging everyday items for scrapbooking and charging more than if you buy it in a regular retail market. i didn't see anything that i couldn't get at an office store, target or walmart (just not in the coordinating colors).

The light pad seems like a cool idea in theory, but what if you want to use the templates and are using dark paper?

I’ve had too many We R tools crap out on me, so I won’t buy from them anymore.

I would love to try the paper cutter to see how many 110lb cs can be cut at once.

I may get the pierce and stitch thing. I never was one to sew on layouts back in the day but really enjoy it now. I have a layout I’m in the process of stitching on my table right now.

It looks like a lot of old tools have been updated (or not). Their tools don't have a good reputation anymore, so I don't think I'll be getting any. Thanks for the info., though.
