Whatever, the Biden thread is ridiculous when Trump in comparison is barely functional. Please use the below to post your salty, but factual quotes, video or audio clips, memes and if the mood strikes, your general opinion of the Cheeto Mussolini, the Tang Influencer, the Useful Idiot.
My 5 year old granddaughters are more articulate than Trump and have a better moral compass than his voters. These are kids that cheat at the popamatic Trouble game, but they'll grow out of it one day, unlike Trump.

Every word out of his mouth these days. President Biden has the sporadic gaff here and there. But whenever the orange man opens his mouth, it's gibberish. How anyone could consider him fit for presidency is about as moronic as he is.

What's getting ridiculous is the repeated back and forth between a mentally unstable pea and peas with a brain who can't stop themselves from responding. FFS stop engaging!
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over and over expecting a different result.

It’s sad that his supporters can’t see that hyper-nationalist, nativist crap for what it is. I suspect a significant number of them DO see it and that's what they are voting for...which is a sad indictment of our education system As for fitness for a second term? he wasn't fit for the first one

So many reasons why Trump is unfit, but let's start with reproductive rights. Trump could potentially try to pass a national 16 week abortion ban or restrict the use of abortion drugs. Anti-abortion groups are already working on plans for Trump or the next Republican president. www.nytimes.com/2024/02/16/us/politics/trump-abortion-ban.htmlTrump Privately Expresses Support for a 16-Week Abortion Ban In supporting a 16-week ban with exceptions, Donald Trump appears to be trying to satisfy social conservatives who want to further restrict abortion access and voters who want more modest limits.
Former President Donald J. Trump has told advisers and allies that he likes the idea of a 16-week national abortion ban with three exceptions, in cases of rape or incest, or to save the life of the mother, according to two people with direct knowledge of Mr. Trump’s deliberations.
Mr. Trump has approached abortion transactionally since becoming a candidate in 2015, and his current private discussions reflect that same approach.
One thing Mr. Trump likes about a 16-week federal ban on abortions is that it’s a round number. “Know what I like about 16?” Mr. Trump told one of these people, who was given anonymity to describe a private conversation. “It’s even. It’s four months.”www.nytimes.com/2024/02/17/us/politics/trump-allies-abortion-restrictions.htmlAllies of former President Donald J. Trump and officials who served in his administration are planning ways to restrict abortion rights if he returns to power that would go far beyond proposals for a national ban or the laws enacted in conservative states across the country.
Behind the scenes, specific anti-abortion plans being proposed by Mr. Trump’s allies are sweeping and legally sophisticated. Some of their proposals would rely on enforcing the Comstock Act, a long-dormant law from 1873, to criminalize the shipping of any materials used in an abortion — including abortion pills, which account for the majority of abortions in America.
“We don’t need a federal ban when we have Comstock on the books,” said Jonathan F. Mitchell, the legal force behind a 2021 Texas law that found a way to effectively ban abortion in the state before Roe v. Wade was overturned. “There’s a smorgasbord of options.”
Mr. Trump’s idea is not yet a concrete proposal, and the anti-abortion lawyers and strategists within his own orbit already have plans in the works that toughen abortion policies using other avenues. They are not waiting for Mr. Trump to pursue turning his discussions about what he ultimately will say about abortion after the G.O.P. primary into reality, especially because they know a 16-week ban is all but certain to never pass Congress and become law. Instead, they are working much faster, and much more sharply, to exceed their anti-abortion successes in the Trump presidency.
In policy documents, private conversations and interviews, the plans described by former Trump administration officials, allies and supporters propose circumventing Congress and leveraging the regulatory powers of federal institutions, including the Department of Health and Human Services, the Food and Drug Administration, the Department of Justice and the National Institutes of Health.
The effect would be to create a second Trump administration that would attack abortion rights and abortion access from a variety of angles and could be stopped only by courts that the first Trump administration had already stacked with conservative judges.
Policies under consideration include banning the use of fetal stem cells in medical research for diseases like cancer, rescinding approval of abortion pills at the F.D.A. and stopping hundreds of millions in federal funding for Planned Parenthood. Such an action against Planned Parenthood would cripple the nation’s largest provider of women’s health care, which is already struggling to provide abortions in the post-Roe era.
Abortion rights leaders have little doubt that a second Trump administration would go as far as possible to limit abortion rights and access. While their organizations are publicly hammering Republicans for embracing national bans, they quietly worry more about the damage Mr. Trump could materially do to their cause through executive actions.
“He’s trying to masquerade in public as a moderate,” said Mini Timmaraju, president of Reproductive Freedom for All, formerly NARAL Pro-Choice America. “It’s mind-blowing that anyone would imagine he wouldn’t do worse in a second term.”

Trump's reverence, respect, allegiance and obsession with dictators is really alarming.

Trump has said a lot of bizarre things lately. He has an obsession with windmills because there's one near his Scottish golf course. He makes up all kinds of things about windmills - they're killing whales, they will destroy our planes and beautiful oceans, wind power could take TV off air if the wind is not blowing etc. If re-elected, Trump will of everything in his power to stop clean energy, especially windmills. www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/trump-2024-campaign-trail-new-hampshire-windmills-1234670274/www.nytimes.com/2024/02/16/climate/trump-clean-energy-fact-check.html“I will end Joe Biden’s war on American energy, cancel his ban on exporting American natural gas, beautiful, clean natural gas.”
— Donald J. Trump at an event in North Charleston, S.C. on Feb. 14
“The windmills aren’t working, the most expensive form of energy ever.”
— Donald J. Trump at the event in North Charleston, S.C.www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-66928305Speaking at a rally in South Carolina on Monday, Mr Trump suggested that "windmills" used to generate electricity are driving whales "crazy", and dead whales are washing ashore "on a weekly basis".
There is no evidence to back Mr Trump's suggestion that offshore wind turbines are killing whales.
Forty per cent of those deaths were linked to human interaction - whales becoming entangled in fishing nets, or being struck by vessels travelling through their feeding grounds.
In the remaining cases investigated by NOAA, other factors were listed as possible causes of death, including parasite-caused organ damage or starvation.
In some cases, the advanced stage of decomposition of the carcasses meant it was impossible to conclusively determine the cause of death.
"We know what the main threats are to humpback whales: it's very much the impact from things like fishing and ship strikes," says Rob Deaville from the Zoological Society of London's Cetacean Strandings Investigation Programme. "To talk about wind farms being a problem takes away discussion around the very real threats that are a problem for those species."

Trump is making mistakes almost daily. He's mixing up dates, people (Nikki haley and Macy Pelosi), confused on who the president is or who he ran against in 2016 and 2020, confused about the dates of his own presidency etc. He's also making bizarre, unfounded claims like New York State will be gone if his appeal is unsuccessful, they will change the name of Pennsylvania, he's responsible for Taylor Swift's fame etc.

If nepotism was bad in his first term, it will be nepotism on steroids for his 2nd term. He already installed his daughter-in-law as head of the RNC so she can funnel all of the money to him for his legal fees. Can you imagine Jared as Secretary of State? www.nytimes.com/2024/02/15/opinion/donald-trump-family.htmlWell, that was fast! Donald Trump is not yet the Republican nominee for president, but already we’re witnessing a resurgence of the in-your-face nepotism that brought us last decade’s cringe-worthy reality show: Javanka in the West Wing.
Like so much about Trump 2.0, this round of packing institutions with puppets is looking even dingier and more shameless than the last, starting with the former president endorsing Lara Trump, his daughter-in-law, to be co-chair of the Republican National Committee.
The truly Trumpian wrinkle here is that the MAGA king doesn’t care about any qualification other than blind loyalty. That whole “best people” nonsense from his first presidential go-round has fallen by the wayside for now.
From what we have heard about Mr. Trump’s plans for a second term — an administration defined by total subservience — there seems to be a rich opportunity for him to put other family members to use should he win in November. This could be especially timely considering the legal mess in which the family company has been embroiled of late. And the family foundation has already been dissolved, following its own legal kerfuffle. What could be more obvious than for Mr. Trump to put the extended clan to work in the White House?
Just imagine the most extreme version as Don Jr. barrels around the West Wing, knocking heads as chief of staff, while his gal pal Kimberly Guilfoyle works her magic as communications director. And lest anyone accuse Trump Sr. of playing favorites, Tiffany, just a few years out of Georgetown Law, could be brought in as White House counsel. Or, heck, why not attorney general!
And Javanka? With some West Wing experience already under the fashionable belt, especially on the diplomatic front, Ivanka is surely ready for bigger and better things. Secretary of state, perhaps?

There were lots of errors at his rally on Feb 10. A bizarre story about marbles, Dino dollars, people shoplifting refrigerators, he gave the FBI lunch at Mar-a-lago as evidence that he behaved etc. Almost daily, Trump is mixing things up, confused, getting names wrong, making factual errors, incoherent, mispronouncing words, ranting or going off on strange tangents.

Setting aside the slight inaccuracy of his statement, he has a fair point. Trump didn't suggest that we should study the injection of disinfectant because he was in a mental decline, he said it because he's stupid. This is perhaps one of his dumbest, most reckless and most irresponsible ideas.

I don't know if Trump made these statements because of a possible mental decline or just his own stupidity, but his lack of knowledge of history is astounding. Remember when he talked about airports in the Revolutionary war? Recently, he also said he wants to save us from World War II.

A reminder that recently Donald Trump:
- Confused a photo of his rape victim for his ex-wife during a deposition - Confused Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi 4 times in a row - Said Jeb Bush sent our troops to the Middle East - Thought he ran against and is currently running against Barack Obama - Said President Biden started World War II - Said that Viktor Orban is the leader of Turkey - Said you need voter ID to buy bread - Said windmills are causing whales to wash up on shore - Confused North Korea and China - Implied Dallas is in another country - Had to be reminded of where he was during a speech in Sioux City - Claimed Hungary borders Russia
And that’s before you get to, you know, all the fascism, fraud, and sexual abuse.

He's on a roll tonight talking about shower faucets and delusions about himself, the fraud case and winning New York and NJ in November.
Trump: “You go and buy a home…The shower, you stand under the shower and there’s no water coming in. You end up standing there 5 times longer (sniff), ah”

He's so far gone. This is why anyone who can start a thread questioning Biden and then cherry pick every little thing to suit their confirmation bias is ridiculous. Trump's missteps and wobbles are legion compared to Biden. Furthermore, Biden surrounds himself with capable, experienced people while Trump installs his relatives and yes men.
