years ago I lost my corner rounder. I looked and looked for it and finally concluded it must have fallen in the wastebasket and been thrown away. And I replaced it
we moved 3 years ago
today? I was clearing out some random Girl Scout stuff from a basket and guess what I found?
my corner rounder!

I was thinking about my Cutterbee scissors the other day because of one of the threads on here, they've been lost for years... I am currently also missing my clear ruler, hundreds of ball point pens (I used to buy them in bulk so I'd always be able to find a pen...), most of my silverware, and several items of clothing. I'm pretty sure when my 17-year-old moves out, all the things I'm missing will "magically" reappear... Congratulations on finding your corner rounder. I've had the same one since 2003, the one thing that no one in the house borrows

I have lost my black soot and vintage photo distress inks after a crop in January. Just ordered new ones which will be here Saturday. I’m assuming this means I’ll find the inks soon. I’m worried I’ve lost my tiny attacher. It’s not anywhere I normally keep it or put tools. I’m worried it fell into my trash can. I even looked through the trash can though and I couldn’t even find it there! Toying with biting the bullet and ordering another one but then I’ll find my old one.

I've had the same one since 2003, the one thing that no one in the house borrows I found quite a few things when my now-23 y/o moved out and I suspect the same will happen when my 17 y/o does. My just found corner rounder is from 2002 or 2003 and isn't the same as its replacement so I'll keep both.

i lost my TH ruler a while back. i loved it because it had thick lines of measurement. i was hooking up a new power strip the other day and when i pulled a rolling cart out, there it was. i have no idea how it could have gotten under there but i'm so happy to have found it. it's old, worn, and spattered with glue bits but it's my favorite ruler.

I own 3 TH Tiny Attachers and about a dozen boxes of staples. All because of lost and found.
Also found my son's long lost birth certificate and social security card in a stack of scrap memorabilia I put off sorting for about 2 years.

I had some large prints (like 5" x 12") that I ordered, were delivered, I had in hand, and then they vanished into thin air. I don't know if I accidentally threw them out or what, but I can't figure out where they would've gone (and we're in a one bedroom apartment!). I did reorder them, thinking they'd appear as soon as I hit order, but to no avail. I guess if I ever find them, I'll frame them.

Oh! I’ve also lost my Basic Grey 18” magnetic ruler. It’s been lost for 3-4 years. I ordered a 14” magnetic ruler a few months ago. It’s not the same though. Plus, it was BG! How could I lose something that precious? Sigh.

one letter from a favourite alpha set! a vowel no less. I still hold out hope that I'll find it stuck to the back of something some day 🤞 happy for everyone here who has reunited with their missing item.

Not a lost and found thing but I have 4 or 5 of the blue creative memories photo guillotine style trimmers. My initial one broke and i bought a replacement on ebay for $20 something. It doesn't work as well as the original (tears the starting edge) and have since found several more at various thrift stores for between $2 and $3 each...I can't just leave them behind but hey, if I lose one at least I have spares now.

I recently misplaced an eraser that is half sand, half eraser. While I haven’t found it yet, I did order a 2-pack of the sand-only eraser for $7.15. There was also a 1-pack version for $7.13 on Amazon. What?!

My daughter lost the “e” from one of my favourite alpha stamps by not putting things away. I. Was. Furious. Happy to report I found it months later stuck inside another set! Still missing a couple of lawn fawn little stamps from sets though and I have a feeling they’ve gone up the vacuum cleaner. I’m a little bit miffed about that as it’s not worth buying a whole new lawn fawn set for one tiny stamp 😒

A month ago I used some metal die numbers to cut out a date for an album. Decided I didn't like that color, so I was going to cut a new set in a different color. Didn't do it that night. Went back to it the next day and couldn't find the zero! Not for the life of me! And, these were fairly small dies so I figured it got thrown in the trash with my scraps or something. I went through every little piece of crap in my garbage twice! Not there. Picked up my mat. Moved everything on top of my desk. Not there. Crawled on the floor. Not there. I gave up. A few days later, I plugged in my kindle (which is in a holder on my desk so I can watch Youtube videos)... and there was that die! Stuck to the back of my kindle. I'm not sure if it was static that stuck it there, or if there is something magnetic in the kindle, but there it was!!! I was so happy! At least I could finish the project I had started! LOL!
And, just yesterday, I realized I have NO IDEA where my Vintage Photo ink pad is!!! I usually keep it out on my desk so I can grab it if I want to distress some edges. I got out some different colors last week for a page I was working on, and now I can't find the Vintage photo. Where would I have put it? Why would I have moved it anyway? I'm really stumped on this one. Hopefully it shows up...

I've found that the best way to find something that's lost is to order a new one. Then POOF, 2 days later I find the lost item. Works every time for me!

It's always my short 15cm cork-backed ruler or needlepoint tweezers that are playing hide and seek.
So far I've managed not to lose them for too long but they still find places to disappear to, even when I'm vigilant about putting them back. I'm sure it has something to do with being distracted after using either one and the fact they're both flat enough to easily slip under almost anything else.

I lost a letter to a die cut set, and during my recent move I do believe I found it . . . but have yet to put it away. It is stored with the other small dies that appeared when I moved. Found the cover to a stamp set and didn't know where the stamp set was, found that this week when prepping for a DT assignment for Christmas in June challenge. Now if I wasn't that far ahead, I wouldn't have put the two back together for many more months. It will be interesting to find things that are still 1700 miles away as they get moved here next month.

Two recent lost and founds. I was sure I bought a 6x6 paper pad to make sympathy cards, but I couldn’t find it. I’ve been working on tidying my craft space , so it was especially frustrating. I almost convinced myself that I didn’t actually buy it. It was in the kitchen in my reusable shopping bag under a chair no one actually sits on.
During my tidying, I started organizing and purging my alpha stickers, so they would all fit in my containers. Everything was spread on the spare bed in my craft room for a long time. I finally dealt with it, and found a 6x8 Christmas paper pad and matching embellishments. I didn’t even know they were missing! I guess I’m set for December Daily 2024.

My cutting mat for my Silhouette has walked off. I used it last night, and can find both the things I cut out of it, and the scrap paper with shapes cut out of it, but not the actual cutting mat. My desk isn't even that messy. Grrr.

This whole thread made me feel a whole lot better. I just realized I am missing three little clear stamps, (one each from 3 DIFFERENT sets). I know exactly where and when I last used each of them, and I have torn everything apart, but no luck. I can't believe I lost three different stamps from three completely different sets. Maybe they all ran off together. Sigh...

I've lost my corner rounder at least 3 times. Want to know how I know? Because I now have 3 corner rounders! What is it with those things? Crafty little devils, running off like that. (See what I did there? ). I had purchased a generic corner rounder on an Amazon “lightening deal” and it worked wonderfully. Then it disappeared. It was out of stock, so I purchased a We R Memory Keepers branded one, and honestly, I don’t care for it all that much. Of course, as soon as the Amazon return window closed, I found my off brand corner rounder. So now I have 2. My “favorite” one now has a a very special place where it gets returned immediately after use. Ha.

I have a couple sets of stamps where the stamps don’t stick to the backing well after you initially pull them off. I have lost one of my favorite teeny sequin stamps. I’m 100% sure it’s on my desk somewhere, but I haven’t come across it yet. It’s so frustrating when they don’t stick to the packaging.
I was also cleaning and reorganizing my claying room the other day, and I cannot, for the life of me, find my box of earring backs! No idea where I put them.
