Whoa! If you are a Stampin Up customer or demonstrator, big news today! In addition to changes in their ordering platform (yawn) they are making HUGE changes in their rewards program. 1. No more host codes. Their excuse was people didn't like getting free things at the expense of their friends. Ummmm...... this is the whole home party model. Actually, almost all demonstrators want you to use the host code. They use the host rewards for product they use in classes or give you as "gift with purchase" 2. No more half price item with an order or workshop over $450. Not a big deal to anyone except demonstrators who use host codes. 3. THE big one: Rewards are capped at 10% and you can't use them on the current order. You must use the rewards on a future order. Now this REALLY stinks out loud! If you order $40 worth of product (before tax and outrageous shipping costs), you will get $4 off your NEXT order. Are they serious? I think this is going to backfire. I am a demonstrator only for the discount. I share my discount with anyone who buys from me. But I believe I would be better off quitting and then rejoining under a good special and then quitting again. Plus I won't be stuck with a "minimum" to stay "active" Any other SU demonstrators here?

I mostly buy used SU stuff so it won't affect me at all. I know a couple of demos who do this as a side gig and I'm sure they will not be happy with the changes either. Every great once in a while I'll buy when my friends are hosting an online party and it doesn't bother me if they may get some compensation for getting me to buy stuff. It sounds like they need to fund the daughter of the founder's legal fees. 😂

That bites. I just did a larger order online as I missed my demos order date. I was happily surprised that I had $25 in free reward points and used it to order some extra product I wouldnt have ordered otherwise.

I am a new hobby demonstrator (only joined because a friend needed another person in her downline to get to the next level) and my head was spinning with all the changes. I doubt I will stick with this. I had a couple of friends order, which helped me meet my minimum, but I don't like the idea of having to use my rewards on a future order. In the past, when they've had the $5 bonus, I've always given them away because I don't order every month.

Well, the owners need make changes because the have to save up for their alleged murderer daughter’s pricy trial lawyer. That was my initial response when I read the changes.

I'm guessing that anything the company is changing is only to benefit them. Good luck with it all.

I quit last year, couldn't and wouldn't push myself spending money just to stay active. Now I'm happy I made that choice. I have seen some popular demos starting to use different companies' products in their videos. Well I guess they are leaving too.
