Curiosity is driving me but I'm not that committed . I was hoping it was something online I could send a pic of myself or something. Haha... You just can’t trust online unfortunately. I would encourage you to do it based on what I know about you and your desire for sustainability with your wardrobe and making purchases that are intentional. I have also had a style analysis done that narrowed down my wardrobe even further. I think you would find the whole process very interesting. Well I didn't think of it like that. But you're right in that I'm trying to make sure I choose intentionally and for the long haul. Thank you.

I don’t do GYPO any longer, but I keep seeing a trend that leaves a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach…. Pleated pants and shorts 🫣. I have been happy to see a number of things come back around but no… just no. Thank you for saying this. Any person that has even a hint of a belly, I don't think the pleat is good for (and I have more than just a hint of a belly).

I’m not a member any more. I stopped when she switched to subscriptions, signed up again last fall to see if I felt any different and did the fall capsule and then canceled again.

I am pretty sure I am heading that way. Even though the sub isn't that much each month, I don't feel like I'm getting a good use from it anymore. I was going to cancel when I was looking at my finances back in Jan but it was so close to the Spring drop, I decided to stay til then and reevaluate.

I like the wide leg trouser-style jeans and chinos, but I’m completely over the raw hem style. Fave thing I’ve seen for spring is navy-striped boatneck tees, as mentioned on another thread. But I’m probably going to have to settle for a similar striped regular tee as there is just too much fuss in keeping my bra straps from view. I already have multiple navy striped tops - and I’m super tempted to buy this - but I don’t need it! www.sezane.com/us/product/colette-mariniere/ecru-navy#size-XXSThat top is darling! I LOVE the way that it is styled!!

Well I’ll be the odd one I like puff sleeves - a small puff not a big one. It makes a basic sweatshirt so much cuter.I also like cropped - but cropped to my waist, not showing belly button or skin lol, I love lace and broderie and pretty little details. I totally agree with this. I have the cutest basic sweatshirt with a little puff and it is so cute!

Kick flare pants (which I've been wearing since last summer) I am so fashion challenged, it's not even funny. I googled what they look like! I have a pair of straight leg jeans from Maurices, but they definitely have that little bit of flare and I really like the way they fit.
I just had my colors done, so between that and my size difference I’m basically needing a whole wardrobe revamp. I decided I'm soft summer, but I could be wrong.

GenniferThe Sneak Peak just launched and it looks so boring. In the sneaks, the colors are all khaki, denim, white with a pop of hot pink. Oh, and the olive jeans. There is literally zero pattern in the sneak. Trench Coat Olive High Waist Wide Leg Jeans Neutral Blazer High Waist Slacks Metallic Sandals Pop of color in purse As of right now, I don't think I have to purchase anything. I will either skip the things I don't have (trench coat, it doesn't rain enough here to bother with one), or I have a sub in my closet already.

What’s worse is my apple shaped DD is in looooove with pleated schoolgirl style mini skirts that add a lot of extra bulk right where she doesn’t need it. I’m trying to find a similar look for her that would give a more streamlined appearance, but I’m not by any means a fashion guru myself so it’s been a challenge.

It bums me out because there are so many pieces I like that just don’t work because of that.

I do have a couple of things coming in this week that I'm looking forward to incorporating in my wardrobe. I have a peachy tweed jacket (i guess it's kind of a lady jacket style but not quite so cropped). I also have a cute black and white striped top and a pair of light blue wide-leg slacks, and a cute patterned midi-dress.

Yet there are a lot of cute styles out there.

Of those - the things that appeal to me are: Neutral blazer (I almost bought a super cute one at Veronica Beard yesterday) Metallic Sandals (already bought some at Sézane) Purse with pop of color (probably won’t buy as I don’t need any more, but I do think they are cute)

I didn't renew this year (after being an annual member since 2019). Last year I didn't really participate in Fall (it was hot here until December it felt like) or Winter so I just decided to skip the annual membership & see if I miss it. I don't think I will. I work from home every day & just can't get motivated to do the outfits or post the pics in the group.

That was really why I debated leaving for a while before I finally did. I just felt like I wasn’t seeing anything new year after year. “Florals for spring? Groundbreaking.”
I miss the days when she put things in the capsule that really pushed me out of my comfort zone. (Or maybe my sense of style just evolved enough over time that I was finding and exploring those things before the seasonal releases? I don’t know.)
I just wanted to feel like I was learning something new with each release, and that wasn’t the case. Plus (and maybe this makes me sound like a bitch!) I had a really hard time clicking on her affiliate links when I’d already paid her directly for the capsule to give me the link!

She only links the same few shops and it has to be that they give the rest rewards. It's predictably: Jcrew Factory, Target, Old Navy, H&M, Loft and Amazon.

Reporting back from Spain, I can tell everyone that European women are wearing stripes. Lots of stripes. Also straight or wide legged pants/jeans and no florals that I could see. That might change in the summer.
The younger girls are very into Y2K fashion - JNCO style jeans, platform sneakers, cropped tops.

The only floral pattern is a dress. All the tops are 3 neutral, 2 striped (one black and white, one blue and white), 2 solid color t-shirts, and one graphic (which I guess could be a floral, but the example is a white t shirt with 'PARIS' across the chest).

Gennifer Olive High Waist Wide Leg Jeans Are raw hem still "in"? I have a pair of Loft jeans from last year that work. As if I'm ever on trend enough to matter. I just don't want to look out of date

Does anyone know when you cancel do you keep access to what you've paid for already or do you lose everything? I guess several of the things I have are part of the all access so I didn't buy those capsules but I sure paid for them!

I really enjoyed the years I had an annual membership. A couple coworkers were doing it too and it was such a fun thing for us. Getting dressed for work was easy and fun. We sometimes were concerned that we might show up wearing basically the same thing and it only happened a couple times. I retired recently and am really trying to reduce items in my closet. If I buy anything new I really need it or I love it. I have a couple people that I follow on Instagram and use that as my way to stay current. My most complimented item in my wardrobe right now is my gardening overalls from Duluth Trading Company. I have a super cute pair with gnomes, bunnies, chickens, and flowers. They came out with a new pattern and I’m trying to decide if it is overkill to have two pairs of gnome overalls.
