I hate buying them and would much rather spend the money on paper! But I just ordered albums and page protectors that should get me through 2025, until I have to do it again. My 12 by 12 album shelf is full, so I should probably figure out what I'm going to put the albums on... ugh.
What about you?

I also just ordered several with extra page protectors. I'm very much behind in putting layouts away. I have three stacks of layouts that need a home. Hopefully I bought enough to be able to put them all away.

I have several empty albums on hand and a iris box full of page protectors. I scrap 8.5x11 so I buy page protectors in bulk from Sams Club or the office store. I have a particular album I use for my family scrapbooks and I try to always have at least one on hand - it's from HL so when I'm down to just 1, I'll watch for the next album sale and get a couple at 40% off. The others I have on hand are ones I've picked up when HL has clearanced out different styles of albums - I use those for trips, my genealogy albums, album of me etc... I just picked up 12 for under $5 a piece - 4 of them are already full(I transferred layouts out of flimsy office supply binders) and a 5th is in use.
I almost never pay full price for an album which helps with the sticker shock.

I scrapbook 8.5 x 11.
I use three ring binders, that have a document insert on the front cover and I make a non photo layout to insert as the cover.
I buy sheet protectors at Costco or the office supply store.

I have lucked out and found quite a few WRMK ones at Walmart (online), large sales, and today even saw a set of 100 at my LSS. They were $45 though and that hurt a bit.

I tend to stock up as I find good deals. I currently have enough for at least this year and probably next year. Haven’t really bought albums in awhile so I need to look out.

I don't really mind buying page protectors, but I don't like storing them, especially because I use a variety of sizes and configurations. I'm about to run out of album space soon as well

I bought albums and page protectors when my online lss was closing down last year, so I'm good for probably the next couple of years. I agree there are a lot more fun things to spend money on in this hobby though!

I don't like paying a ton for protectors either! I try to get them on sale whenever possible, even if I'm not quite at the point I need to order yet I will if it's a good price since I know I'm going to have to get them soon anyway.
I actually just got a bunch of protectors from Echo Park's Warehouse sale. I worked out the price and it's a really good deal.
Type A 12x12 protectors
Scrapbook.com has a pack of 20 for $9.49 right now.
Echo Park Wharehouse has a pack of 50 for $15.00
6x8 protectors (which I use a bunch of)
Packs of 25 (regardless of the configuration) are $5.00
Packs of 50 (regardless of the configuration) are $10.00
Also with Echo Park, if you are new to ordering directly online you can signup for emails/texts and get a 10% off coupon you can use on clearance.

My biggest problem is finding 12 x 12 three ring binders that are NOT that fake leather stuff. I want something that won’t peel and fall apart in a few years. It seems like everything else is post bound or $$$$$$.

artisticscrapper I have a few from scrapbook.com that are their brand and have held up pretty well since I got them (even if my dad did think that I was asking for 3-ring binders when I had them on my Christmas list a few years ago...).

I need to find a new source of page protectors. My problem is I am picky and haven’t found a brand I like as well as CTMH. All the others I have tried are so thin .

I stock up on my 4x8s when Citrus Twist does their almost perfect album sales. But I'm probably set for awhile with those. I get my 6x8 protectors from scrapbook.com I'm really happy with their quality and design options. I am low on a few designs, but keep a decent amount in stock.
I use the same two brands for albums as well. During sales the prices aren't too bad and hold quite a lot.
