I'm just getting back into scrapping and card making. I have never done as much card making. I have a few alcohol based markers, but it seems like I need water based markers if I want to color directly onto a stamp to make multi colored images. I don't know if I'm searching with the wrong terms, but I can't seem to find much about water based markers.
Thanks!

Tombow markers are popular , but could be pricey. I just put in water based markers and there is a lot of choices on Amazon.com. This is Ohuhu a.co/d/drXxvKjThis looks similar to Tombow a.co/d/gnCAd35a.co/d/hNQ2jwv

I really love Altenew's marker products. I started with their Artist's Alcohol Markers, but sometime last year they offered me one set of their Dual-tipped Pen sets, which are water based, for shipping cost only. The dual tips are brush and fine, where the fine is really fine -- like journaling-pen-fine. They kind of remind me of my old Zig Writers. I liked that first set so much, I collected the other three over the next few months. Then I registered for an upcoming Altenew retreat which included the Zanzibar link set of these pens in the kit. Since I already have them, and since I did get one of my sets for just shipping cost, I could send you my brand new in package extra Zanzibar set for the cost of shipping.

I have mostly Memento markers (by Tsukineko- that was before they were rebranded (or sold?) to Imagine Crafts) plus a few Tombows. Both are double tipped- a fine and brush tips. I like them both.

Imagine Crafts claims to be the US distributor of Tsukineko products, but it's true that if you're searching for a Memento whatever online, sometimes they come up Imagine and sometimes Tsukineko.

Thanks for the feedback ladies. I'm leaning towards this set. If they don't work out, not much invested. Thoughts? Ohuhu Water Based Marker Set

I have this set. I bought them initially to use in colouring books, but also use them for journaling and colouring images.
I want to thank you for the idea to colour stamps with them for multi coloured stamping.
I didn't know about that and have just tried the technique on a lace stamp with them and I love the look.

Great, I'm glad my question helped. I will try these and see what I think. I don't want to invest much yet as I'm not sure how much card making/stamping I will do.
