I don't know what is wrong with me lol, I threw away the packaging for my spellbinders advent calendar thinking, "I won't need this, I can tell what all these dies are..." HA! Nope, I am looking at them going, "What on earth do these make??" I went to youtube (thank goodness for youtube!) and found unboxing videos that showed the dies and what they make. Now going forward-how are people who got this keeping track of the tiny dies and what they make? Should I go through and cut all the pieces so I know? The dies are all on magnet boards, so it would be a question of where to keep those cut outs and matching them to the correct dies... Just curious how others track these teeny tiny sets. I don't have an issue with other dies, because I keep them with their packaging (HoneyBee, ect) Thanks!

I have mine still in the tiny bags in a plastic box. And now I can't find the box! LOL Seriously, I need a better system to keep track of all this "stuff" I've acquired.
I was also curious how others use and store them. I'm definitely NOT a card designer, so while I could add one or two diecuts to a card I'm making, I probably would not be able to design something using just them. They were a random hodge-podge of things. I probably won't do the calendar again this year, but I'd like to try the stitched ornaments if they offer another one.

I agree, I probably won't do it again. I really like everything that came in there (love the whale die) but think I'd rather buy something I really want for 50 bucks rather than get little die sets. But opening was fun!

Yes, opening it was fun! It would be great if they made them to specifically build a card or two, with instructions! Day by day get the different components and put it all together. I would definitely try that.

You should cut out each little piece and glue them down on heavy cardstock, and also make a completed image, glueing it next to the pieces. Label the steps as 1, 2, 3, etc., and place in the storage folder with the die pieces.

and place in the storage folder with the die pieces. I think that is a good idea and I will probably have to do that, but I store my dies on magnet sheets in a bin for me to flip through, so no storage folder to store with the die pieces. I am rethinking how to match them up...

Dies that are self explanatory and themed I have on large magnetic trays in a wooden box. Die sets for building images I keep on magnetic sheets in page protectors in an album. I had planned to glue the packaging with the image on the back of the magnetic sheet, but in reality I just tuck it in loose. If the packaging doesn't give me all the options--like with the Jaded Blossom gnome die sets--I print off the photos from the item in their on-line store and tuck that into the protector. Sometimes I print off pic's from Pinterest that give interesting twists. I didn't get the Spellbinders Advent calendar, but thanks for this heads up, kmage. I am always thinking I will remember stuff and then immediately forgetting. Someone remind me if I order the 2024 one to save those little tabs (with the number on one side and the image on the other). then tuck it into a baggy with the dies so I can decide later how and where they can best be stored.

Trading card protector pages are an inexpensive and readily available option for tiny die storage. I make little folders using clear plastic and magnetic sheet that slips in and holds all those tiny dies in place.

Day one of the calendar, I didn't notice the picture on the packaging and I had a hard time figuring out the die parts, so I realized I would need the packaging. I stuffed all the dies in the plastic they came in with their pictures in a zippered pouch.
