Good morning.
I have to go to the store and run a couple errands. Apart from that, it's a quiet day. I will sit at my puzzle and relax. Dinner will be chicken enchiladas for dh and a salad.

Today I have to rest because my shoulder hurts a lot. I talk to my GP about things and then maybe the dog will get a short walk. The pain today isnāt good.

Are you slowly getting better? Today I have to rest because my shoulder hurts a lot. I feel for you, my friend. A broken shoulder has got to be painful.  I preplanned my vacation excellently. Since I told everyone I was leaving and addressed all their needs before I left, I did not return to a mess. And my boss sent three tasks last week to both of us that shouldn't have taken more than 30 minutes total. My coworker actually did them. So that's it. I really missed virtually nothing. I'm back at work this morning and I'm easing into it. It's been nice. This is my advertisement for the benefits of working hard and preplanning being away. Tonight we will have rechauffe taco salads. We ate them Friday night but I had more meat/supplies so I decided we would eat them again. Have a good day everyone! |

Hi friends!
Dinner this week is wedding soup, and I'll defrost some rolls shortly. DH is feeling much better, but of course now, I have a little bit of a sore throat and am a little chilly, even with the heat on (though that could be due to the fact I'm not sitting right next to it and a certain calico likes to lay across where the heat comes out...). Ugh.

I started the week with a slow day. I had nothing really planned that needed to be done, so thatās exactly what I did. I worked a bit on my bullet journal, getting March set up ready to go and also my travel planning pages. I have also been out for a nice long work, luckily getting it in before the weather turned and the sun went into hiding. Now I am knitting and think about dinner. Like scrappert, I am not sure what I want to eat. In my case though, it is past 5:30pm, so I need to start thinking pretty soon. I know there are a couple of packets of soup in the freezer, so it might be one of those. |

I just got back from ExpressPost'ing my sub position paperwork to the school board ... I'm pretty sure that is it for sending everyone information! Today it cost me $16.  I am counting on subbing next Monday ... fingers crossed! It is cold and yucky outside today ... not that I spend any time outside so really it shouldn't matter to me!  My house is clean, my laundry is done, my garbage has been taken out ... I guess I will do a whole lot of nothin' today!  I haven't even thought about dinner ... I'll talk to my mum and see if she wants to come over ... if not, I'll scrounge something up!  |

The dog needed one last walk at 10:30 at night. It was way warm and glorious outside and a lady friend of Dexter (Maggie) turned the corner and he bolted and I hit pavement. 911 was too busy to come get me. I am not kidding. Anyway my right shoulder is broken. |

This afternoon I have Crazy Rummy. My friend from former town is hosting so I'm helping out by taking pralines and zebra popcorn.  I finally finished our tax planner and sent it off to our tax man! Dinner will be gumbo. Don't forget the tarragon chicken recipe scrapmaven ! Here's another word for us to use!  |

I debated and debated about skiing today. looked at the wind and weather forecast.. it was blowing almost 40 mph at mountain top and about 25 at base. then about 8 am, it started snowing.. now a couple hours later it is coming down hard, it is very windy and quite the storm out there. very cloudy and grey.. so not a great day to go out. so reading and messing around today.. dh is doing the grocery store/ups store/mailbox run. skiing is not fun when you can't see where you are going.
dinner is a repeat... left over pasta, cauliflower and salmon cakes.

Delta Dawn ouch! Quick movements by dogs are responsible for so many injuries. Mine has flipped me on my back. I have used a gentle leader collar ever since. Has really helped. Hope you have a quick recovery. rymeswithpurple cute cat! Didn't get much sleep, may nap for an hour and then walk and tackle my to do list. Tonight will be naan pizza.

Delta Dawn I hope you heal quickly! My boss at work was at the dog park and had her feet taken out from under her by a big dog and had to have a plate put in her knee as a result. She was so annoyed. scrapmaven Thank you! She's queen and knows it. Marina Thanks! Hard to believe that we'll have had her for 9 years in April.

I just got back from taking Walker for a walk in the park. Iām trying to get him more used to the car and not thinking we are going to the vet every time he gets in the car.
Iām picking up the littlest grandboy at daycare this afternoon and meeting the bus for the other two. It will only be for an hour or so while DDIL has a meeting after work.
Supper will be grilled pork chops.

Happy Monday!
I was so busy this weekend with a couple of late nights seeing a U2 cover band on Saturday and then Beetlejuice the musical last night that I'm just taking it easy. Luckily work is pretty slow until the first so I have some downtime. I had a friend in town also this weekend and got my house cleaned for her so it's nice to have that all done. I do need to run a load of laundry sometime today so I'll get around to that soon.
I took a steak out of the freezer for dinner tonight so that's what it will be with a baked potato and salad.

No more chicken pot pie here. Dinner tonight will be a big salad, made with marinated fresh beets brought to me by a friend, and a piece of purple sweet potato pie made by the friendās daughter. I am looking forward to it. Delta Dawn, OUCH, I didnāt know about your broken shoulder. Hope it feels better fast. rymeswithpurple, cute kitty! But ohhh nooo about the incipient symptoms. Delta Dawn. What did the doctor do for you? Sling? So Iām still waiting for a call for my friend that Iām supposed to take to have her elbow surgery tomorrow. The surgical office at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester said that they would get back to her by 7 oāclock tonight or it might be tomorrow morning. I told her to let them know that it would at least be an hour and a half until we can get there because I have to go get her and she lives in the opposite direction of the hospital. Feeling a little Frustrated. If it was me, I wouldāve said if you canāt get me in tomorrow, can I schedule right now for Wednesday but she didnāt do that. She had to call between 2 and 4 PM and thatās when they told her that she was on standby. So keep your fingers crossed that we here by 7 oāclock tonight and I can get my own little bag packed to take with me with iPad etc. . Dinner is leftover chicken soup that I made yesterday. Once things calm down with my friend Iāll be back on here a little bit more regularly although I had to back to Florida on March 12 and I canāt wait.
