Good morning.
I have an appointment this afternoon. So, I'll run into Target first, because I need some stuff. Apart from that I might sit at my puzzle.
Dh is having rechauffe enchiladas and salad for dinner.
What's on your menu?
What are you up to today?
Enjoy the day and may it be a good day for all!

Good morning all.
Nothing exciting planned here -chores and knocking a few things off the everlasting to-do list. Hopefully scrapping.
Dinner is salad and chicken tenders.

I am just home after being out fro most of the day. I took the subway into the city to do some shopping and to wander about looking at things I might buy to take back home, as I need a birthday present for Sophia and Easter goodies. I had lunch at my favourite salad place, then went to meet my friend who had an appointment with a court appointed psychiatrist about the access case she is fighting against her DH. She needed to debrief after a really long session.
Home now and relaxing for a bit before making dinner. I am having cheese filled gnocchi with a vegetable sauce.

It's a deep freeze outside today ... -22 degrees Celsius. Normally I would stay inside but my mum is coming over for dinner and I need to go to the store to pick something up! I guess I should decide what we are having ... hmmmm, maybe something will pop out at me when I get there! I don't really have much else to do today ... watch last nights TV that I recorded I guess ... Below Deck and The Bachelor!

Yesterday The Big Salad was referenced. I hope that my link works. It's The BIIIIIG Salad from Seinfeld.
cadoodlebug, I haven't forgotten. I don't know how to post it. I'm terrible w/this stuff. Can I send it to you and ask you to post it?
christine58, I hope that your friend's surgery goes well and that she makes a speedy recovery. You're good friend.
sueg, I feel for your friend. How terrible that she has to go through this traumatic stuff w/her ex.

Happy Tuesday! Trying to get some errands and chores out of the way today since I have Jury Duty tomorrow and appointments on both Thursday and Friday. Need to squeeze in some sewing time as well.
Not sure what dinner will be. Awaiting divine inspiration, but failing that it will probably be YOYO.

Happy Tuesday!
My morning started out a little frantic when i saw that my co-worker had assigned a lot of clients to me but not to himself so I shut that down immediately. He was good about it and evened things out a little more. I work for another department too and that amounts to about a week a month and he had forgotten about that.
Dinner tonight will be leftover steak with some mac and cheese. It turned out good last night so I'm excited to have it again.
Have a great day!

My yesterday plans for the day to get a lot of little mundane things done got scuppered by our electricity getting turned off at noon. (We're in the process of getting solar panels.) That wasn't supposed to happen, so I ended up going out and killing time. So today I'm trying to get more caught up on that stuff, but I'm not in the right mental state for it today so I'm really plodding!
Dinner is a Home Chef meal, I think it's chipotle and lime chicken with butternut squash and corn or something. I usually get a few nights of that kind of stuff because we're still in a busy phase of life and I'd otherwise resort to getting takeout more often. But I'm trying a couple of new recipes this week, including something with my new fancy upgraded IP. The excitement of middle age!

Is the psychiatrist evaluating her, him, or the child? It's a deep freeze outside today ... -22 degrees Celsius. It is going up to 70 degrees farenheit today (I'm wearing a dress). But we will be experiencing all 4 seasons within a 36 hour time span. By 4pm tomorrow, it should be down to 20 degrees (so below freezing) I need to go vote, today is primary day. I was waiting for Jeremy to get home because I know without my prodding he will skip it. (Insert my eyeroll here.) I have two meetings this afternoon. One at 2 that shouldn't take too long. And another at 3 that my coworker scheduled, but she called in sick this morning, so maybe it will be cancelled. Hope so. I'll be making chicken quesadillas for dinner tonight. Jeremy's request. Can you sense a theme here? That I'm indulging him in all his favorites lately? We haven't heard anything on the truck so hopefully the dealer will find us one.

It’s a balmy 15 degrees C today and tomorrow it will be 0 degrees. I walked to the pharmacy to pick up a couple prescriptions and it was a beautiful walk. My mom is coming over in a bit so I can thread a needle for her. She has a blouse to repair but can’t see to thread the needle! Supper will be leftover pork chops. leannec: Talk to me about Below Deck. I see it all the time but I’ve never watched an episode. I love reality stuff like The Bachelor, etc. Would I like it?

Is the psychiatrist evaluating her, him, or the child? All three. She has had two zoom meetings with dad - he lives in another part of Germany and can't possibly take time oof to come to Munich for this (sarcasm alert). Today was first appointment with mum and she wanted the next appointment to be mum and kid, but mum pushed for - and got - a second appointment just her, as she said the psychiatrist asked her all about her childhood, but nothing about her relationship with the ex. All this is for her to make a recommendation as to whether any access visits should happen at all - friend has asked for, and had approved, that all visits need to be at a supervised visit centre.

It's probably a big pain for her but at least they are taking her seriously and evaluating the entire situation. Hopefully they will make the right decision.

I will pick up a grocery order as I did not go shopping last night.

Can the same be said for quilting and crochet? I'm still so much of a novice with quilting that really any success feels good. But the analogy doesn't hold for crochet. I always have at least one complicated project going and one super easy one. I feel pretty good when I complete any of them, mostly because I know I worked on what I could given what brain function I had at the time. LOL!

Good morning! Not much happening here yet today. I am going to lunch with my friend at noon. I have stuff I need to get done in the office but I just don't feel like it! Good thing my boss loves me!! Dinner tonight is some creamy shrimp dish that I have made before. That reminds me, I need to check to see if I have a can of coconut milk. I still have not been called in for jury duty. They called in jurors 43-88, I'm #89 . My service ends on Friday. I think I will end up being called in.

The temperature has surpassed the predicted 15 degrees and it’s now 20 degrees Celsius. DH brought out the chairs and we are sitting on the deck soaking in some vitamin D. Hard to believe at this time of year.
