Just coming in to post the same thing. Don't let the door hit you on your way out, Mitch.
I blame him, even more than Trump, for this awful Supreme Court we’re saddled with. He knew better, but I guess power “trumps” all.

I think he’s to blame for so much of where we are. He’s a horrible person. I can’t even enjoy it though, the prospect of what evildoer will replace him is nauseating.

I hate him with a passion. He stole a Supreme Court Justice, voted no on the impeachment and so many other things. I suspect this is either because he's not planning to endorse Trump or more likely, health problems. Unfortunately, because of a law he pushed with the Kentucky GOP, the governor of Kentucky no longer has the ability to choose a replacement. The Democratic governor will have to replace McConnell with a Republican, if he resigns.
Although McConnell is the devil incarnate, McCarthy/ Johnson have shown us there is always someone worse waiting to take over. Speaker Rand, Rubio, Blackburn, Ron Johnson, Graham, Hawley or Cruz?
It's a small consolation, but I think history will not look kindly on him. He's leaving a terrible legacy.

Good riddance to a horrible person. I will never forget how he said his main goal for four years was to make sure Obama couldn't get anything passed. Way to be for the American people, Mitch. I didn't even vote for Obama and I thought it was a shitty thing to say.

Yeah, good riddance. But I think a MAGA leader will be even worse. I mean Johnson has succeeded at being even worse than Kevin McCarthy
Sigh.

So he'll be around 85 when he leaves. We need to pass laws putting term and age limits on these seats. This is ridiculous.

They should need to be able to complete their term of office before turning 70 or they cant run. And 2 terms for congress,no more of these dinosaurs who wont leave becsuse they are getting rich from lobbyists.

I’m pretty sure the rest of the senate republicans would totally Weekend at Bernie’s old Mitch just to not lose another seat.

He knew better, but I guess power “trumps” all. Exactly! Trump appointed conservative justices as any Republican would have, but Mitch wouldn't bring Obama's pick up for a vote with months available for hearings. Then he crammed through Amy Coney Barrett's nomination in a month before election. The House Speaker and Senate Leaders are not elected by the people yet they have as much or more power than the President on many issues.

We're still stuck with the crappiest of Supreme Court benches due to his evil machinations.
If there's a hell, I hope there's a special chamber waiting just for him.
