I know this probably isn't fair, BUT... if you had to pick just one YouTuber that you think your scrapping/card style (or wannabe style) mostly aligns with, who would you choose? Bonus points for a favorite video or good example of what you like. I know the first person I check to see if there is a new video out is Dorothy Guinan at Scrapbooking Quebec. I do have a nice list of great creators, but Dorothy seems to pick many of my favorite lines, favorite punches and dies, and scrapbooks so much nature (and her cat) with great titles and layering. She does a lot of double pages with multiple photos and anytime there is a creature walking across the layout it is always a bonus. (I know some people don't dig that, but Chester cracks me up.) Those things together always seem to inspire me. In case you haven't watched her, here is a video. She currently has 459 videos posted, so lots of choices. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZffsyTqV3AAnd double bonus points for posting today. We're having a beautiful snow day and I've got some extra time on my hands.

Without much thinking on the question, my answer is Shimelle. I enjoy scrapbooking using multiple collections/manufacturers. With few exceptions, the majority of my supplies are stored by color to enable me to create this way. I love using lots of patterned paper and bold colors. Where I differ from her is the storytelling aspect. I don’t enjoy writing, so journaling is typically the bare minimum I can get away with!
ETA: great question!!

This is a hard choice, and I am sorry to have to do it but I need to pick on for scrapbooking and one for cardmaking. They are so different and I am invested differently in both, lol. For scrapbooking, Shimelle gets my vote. Funny, talented, thinks outside the box (sometimes too much lol) but she gets me to use my supplies and sometimes in ways I had not thought of yet. And for a scrapper going strong on 30 years, that is huge for me. For cardmaking I am going to say Amy R. of Prairie Paper and Ink. I just love her work. www.youtube.com/@prairiepaperandink(edited to remove a broken link)

One of my absolute faves is Kelly Taylor Cards. Her cards are lovely and she'll explain exactly what she's doing while chatting away.

Heba from My Little Journal is my favorite. Or our own Linda Loves Creating (not sure what her username here is)! I watch those 2 for their Project Life and other albums. I think they both do planner stuff which is not my jam but their other content is great.

I'm also a big fan of Dorothy Guinan at Scrapbooking Quebec's process videos.
Also enjoy watching Erin Jacobson at Crafty Concepts with Erin. I hope she continues her channel after CTMH shuts down.

Very tough to narrow down! She’s no longer actively posting her project life but likely julimakesthings www.youtube.com/@julimakesthings - her archive is worth watching if you haven’t seen them yet. Close runner-ups (pocket page scrapbooking): Amanda Zampelli, Linda Loves Creating, Amy Gretchen, Caylee Grey, Janines Papierstudio, Kasha Gage, Leilani Scraps, Moments to Memories, Pam Baldwin, and more. I’ve also loved how Ali Edwards has started sharing PL videos weekly again! I’m honestly grateful for all the scrappy youtubers out there who share process videos, flip throughs, tutorials/techniques, unboxings, etc. I’m sure it’s a lot of work behind the scenes. I personally enjoy the hobby so much more because of them!

This place must be why Dorothy Guinan at Scrapbooking Quebec popped up on my You Tube, I clicked on one of her videos a few months ago and have been watching her since. My favorite is Jana Eubank I also think my scrapbook style is similar to hers, although she is better. I will add BECKI ADAMS her style aligns with mine too.

I’m really into mixed media on layouts so I’d have to say Shimelle or Vicki Boutin. I’m going to check out some of the ones mentioned here that I don’t know. The gal from Quebec meets my need for multiple photos/two-pagers.

I agree Dorothy Guinan has amazing layouts and bonus points as a fellow Canuck. For artsy layouts I love Cityscrapper. She uses a lot of mixed media which I find very inspiring and they are little works of art.

I love Dorothy, too! Her voice is so nice to listen to, which is an awesome bonus. Cityscrapper was new to me but I just looked her up and love what I see. Her layouts are so balanced and just pretty.

My scrapbooking style is like Becki Adams, I just love her work. I wanted to say Virginia Nebel, but she doesn't have a YouTube channel - her work is featured often on SCT's channel, though, and she teaches for Crop and Create.
For cards, my goal is to be like Yana Smakula, and I'm trying my best to get there (bolder colours, etc). If I had to just watch one creator, she would be the one.

I really enjoy watching so many of the people you all have posted. I can usually get something from every video I watch! There are a few new-to-me YouTubers I plan on watching. Thanks.

I don't have any cool, under-the-radar suggestions to share. I love that Ali Edwards is doing PL process videos. She is my all-time favorite. But thanks for this thread. I'm following several new accounts now - yay!

This is an interesting question since my answer would be different if you asked who do you enjoy watching the most vs who most aligns with your style.
My answer is Allison Davis 4 SG. She has creative but not overly complicated designs, and since she mainly scrapbooks her boys, the colors and patterns she uses are the ones I gravitate towards (i.e., not punk and flowers). She does both 1- and 2-page layouts, and uses manufacturers I like (like Echo Park and Cocoa Vanilla). She uses different techniques and textures too.

I’d have to say Missy Whidden, even though I don’t use cutfiles. It’s probably just as much her personality as it is her scrapping style. I’m really bummed that she doesn’t post videos anymore. m.youtube.com/@missywhidden6877Also, Jessica Michaels m.youtube.com/@jessicaemichaelsI do love Shimelle and Vicki Boutin, and truly enjoy watching their videos, but their scrapping styles are a little different than mine. I do learn some things from them, though.

I personally enjoy the hobby so much more because of them! Exactly this. I miss Juli’s spreads and thought her style was most similar to how I approach project life. Matching my colors to the photos, lots of stamping, minimal but effective embellishing, lots of Studio Calico and Kelly Purkey/Paper Person. I love watching Linda Loves Creating (Hi Linda!) and Amy Gretchen. And Leilani Scraps is my project life crush- she brings a whole different aesthetic to the project and I love her colorful, unique spreads. I aspire to effortlessly pull that off as well as she does! Another scrapper who isn’t on YT but who I think aligns with my style is Jen Wong, on the Studio Calico creative team. She scraps a lot of outdoor adventures like me and also has unique, thoughtful ways of embellishing and stamping. I love her stuff.

I also have a boy so I think that is another reason she resonates with me. For cards, I love Amy R - Prairie Paper & Ink. My style is similar to hers (and heavily influenced by her).
