Triplet Update - A few photos posted 11/16 on page 11

Hi! I thought I would give an update on how things are going. I posted on the extremely thoughtful and generous virtual baby shower thread (thank you again, everyone and especially flanz) that my daughter has had a complication. Everyone is okay, but her mobility is much more limited and she has had to completely stop working. Her dad arrived in San Diego yesterday morning and he is settling in for at least six weeks or so. She can no longer drive safely but has a lot of appointments, so he is in charge of driving her back and forth as well as cooking and helping out. He got permission to work remotely for 60 days but is taking at least a week off to get settled. The idea is that he will help preserve her husband's leave for when the babies arrive. Appointments take up pretty much the entire day, apparently. My husband will also be around during the day just in case something comes up. Apparently that is also a good thing.

Tomorrow is the 30-week mark, which is amazing! We are still hoping that my daughter and the babies make the scheduled C-section date, but at this point at least one of us is there, and every day my husband buys me is very helpful. Even if it is just today and tomorrow--very helpful. But hopefully things will go as planned and the babies hold out until the doc wants them to be delivered. If that's the case, I have three more weeks or so here in Tennessee before I head out. I got my last vaccination on Friday night, so I am all set now. The dog is moping around because he misses my husband, but he will perk up starting on Tuesday when he goes to spend the day with his neighbor/friend, who is a Bernese Mountain Dog. I figure that will bring him out of it. I wanted a couple of days a week where I don't have to go home at lunch to let him out to pee and my awesome neighbors volunteered. They are also keeping him while I am gone.

Anyway, that's the update. Everyone is still doing great, and we are getting into the home stretch now. Less than a month to go, for sure!

Hi! Reporting in to let everyone know that the babies arrived last Thursday afternoon! Everyone is doing great--they are obviously in the NICU but are healthy and as well as could possibly be expected. Mom is doing well also, and Dad has jumped right into the Dad role.

My daughter does not want any photos on any form of social media so I can't post those at this time, but the girls are SUPER IDENTICAL and the boy is, of course, very handsome.
