I do NOT want to join a Spellbinders club, but I LOVE most of the March club die sets. They seem to be mostly book related. And I LOVE this owl!

It’s Hedwig! And it looks like other Harry Potter related elements. I can’t be bothered to navigate their loooong list of clubs on the site and I don’t really want them temptation, so probably good that I’m being lazy. I would think anything Harry Potter and/or book related will be very popular.

Oh, that is cute! But as cute as it is, I’m not even tempted, because I used to have a membership to that club. They had a really great set here and there, but I didn’t really love most of the die sets. It just wasn’t worth it to me to keep subscribing, and if I subbed again, it would probably just be more of the same: one really great kit every six months or so, with the rest just being okay or dies that I will never use.

The month’s theme is magic! Book related but also gnomes and cozy cottages and Harry Potter and a Disney-ish castle. Lots of popular things. http://instagram.com/p/C3-d_p5CwJS

I really like the open book with the cottage sitting amongst the trees - enough to sign up. I will likely cancel after March as I'm not interested in a monthly die club. I've noticed they often put club dies up for sale after the month is over. I've picked up a few things that way. I was going to do the same with the cottage/book dies, but Spellbinders was using being a club member as an incentive for early access to purchase The Weekender event. I didn't want to chance it in case they get an influx of new subs and then sell out of those particular dies.
When I ask myself the question "Will you be sad if it sells out" and my answer is "yes", I've learned not to wait to purchase, if possible!

I just love books and other than the wax stamp , I loved all the clubs. So instead of joining the event I decided to get the Cadboodle this month. Thats $12/club plus the extra little castle die. Interestingly no tax or shipping on it so its definitely a great deal and there is a lot of inspiration on YouTube for free.

Ugh, I really love all of it but am on a freeze. That card with the cottage on the book is phenomenal. I'm jealous of you who signed up! Such a fun month.

I was waffling between jumping in and waiting until there was a sale later down the line, but when you suggested that this might be one of those sets that sell out, I jumped in with both feet. Ordered the small die of the month (the owl) and the large die of the month (the cottage). Now I just need to remember to cancel in time before i end up with a bunch of dies I don't want in future months.

I’m a small die of the month member. I can’t afford anything else, and so far, most of the dies are great. I’m not a fan of the boots dies, but anything floral is great. This owl die and books are going to be perfect to make my niece a card. She’s a librarian.

I was drawn to the owl die set because I saw a card on line with the owl, the book and a greeting saying something about moving on to the next chapter. And the card I linked here has a Wizarding Birthday greeting. And now I am wondering if I missed a stamp set I should have ordered?

I just figured out the sentiments were part of the March Glimmer Club. Not going to go back and order that. I think I can just print out what I want to say in MS Word or spell them out in stickers.

I did the same thing you did Ryann. Signed up for the March die of the month because those book dies were so cute. And as an avid reader, I love everything book related.

I had signed up for the small die of the month last month because I wanted the rain boots & flowers. I was happy to see that the owl is this month's die. I love owls so it's a perfect fit for me. Not sure if I will keep the sub after this month...we'll see!
I used to subscribe to their hot foil kit of the month a couple of years ago but stopped after a few months. I realized I really seem to prefer foiling around the holidays and not so much for everyday cards.

I don’t need a subscription but if I did, what’s the cost of shipping? I didn’t see that on the site but I could’ve overlooked it

I didn’t see that on the site but I could’ve overlooked it I couldn't find it anywhere! I looked in the FAQs and on the club page. Hopefully a member can tell us. Not that I need a sub either

There is tax on it usually, but this time I was not charged for it. Im not sure if thats because got the Cadboodle kit this time. And you can cancel anytime!!! You can wait until you see the next month's club , as long you cancel on the fifth of the month you won't get charged. Or to be safe cancel after you get the package and this way you won't forget to cancel. Thats what I'm doing this time, I don't want the whole kit again.

Just a reminder to everyone who signed up last month to cancel your subscription by the 5th.
I switched my sub to the large die , it has so many good things that will go with my embroidery hoops from waffle flower and the few stitching dies that I own.

Thanks, azcrafty. I had to come here to see which clubs I actually signed up for. Went back to Spellbinders and decided to stay in those two clubs for this next month with the stitching theme. They are really sneaky, though. To make the sample cards you need parts from at least two or three of the clubs. I really like the April 3-D needle embossing folder. Wondering when I can add it on to my kits to keep the same shipping rate to Canada.

This is how I switched my club. I got the large than I canceled the Cadboodle.
