This is a link to a Reddit post about Lady, a golden eagle. I have always been interested in eagles, ever since my grandmother sent me a storybook about some children who hid in a bush to watch the comings and goings of a huge pair of eagles. This excerpt is from the film, Gifts of an Eagle, about Lady, who lived with Ed Durden for 16 years before she left, I presume to live her life with her own kind. The first link is the excerpt and the second is to the website. You can purchase the book or dvd. I haven’t found a site to rent the film yet.
