Really fluff. 😀. Who’s aged better?

I’ve been in love with Rob Lowe for about 40 years, so I have to go with Rob. Tom has aged really well - kept a bit of a boyish quality to him.

Rob Lowe is dreamy! Sigh!   

Rob Lowe. In my opinion, it’s not even close.

Attractiveness goes way beyond physical appearance. I LOATHE Tom Cruise.

I picked Rob Lowe although I think they both have aged pretty good.. Rob just has something more to him than Tom does.  

A few years ago there was a picture of Tom Cruise (at whatever age) and Wilford Brimley (I think) at the same age.  Poor Wilford was just an old grandpa type looking man compared to Tom who looks good.  

Just wanted to say this has nothing on how cray crazy Tom is.. this is just about the looks. 

Yeah, it's just difficult for me to put aside all of the Tom Cruise weirdness and think of him as hot. I think they both objectively look good.

Well, as I have always swooned over Rob Lowe, I am going with Rob.

I also just watched the newest Mission Impossible and commented to DH that Tom needed to step down. He looked old in a couple of spots. Not just makeup, made to look tired, kind of old. But you could just "see" those signs.

Now, Rob also is looking a less bubbly than he did in St. Elmos Fire or Oxford Blues(really dating myself here) but he still has that something that grabs me.

I think the commercial is where I thought "hmmmm, he's had some work done", around the eyes.  

I like Rob Lowe.  I love him when he does comedy.  His character on Parks & Rec was amazing.  I do like him on 9-1-1 Lone Star as well.  

Rob, because he didn’t join a creepy cult (that I know of).

I can't really judge how someone has aged if they have had cosmetic surgery. Rob Lowe looks unnatural in my opinion so I guess I would say Tom Cruise.

I am in the attractiveness is way more than looks and honestly wasn't a tom cruise fan before knowing about the insanity of the scientology crap. I just can't look at him without cringing.

Rob Lowe started out life with much better genetics than Tom Cruise did, so there is no contest in my opinion.  You could compare them at 20, 30, or 40 years old and my guess is that Rob would still come out ahead.  But then, I have never been a fan of Tom Cruise.  And as someone else mentioned, his affiliation with Scientology certainly doesn’t help make him appealing.

Do y’all think Steve Martin has had work done? I mean, he must have, right? We were watching season 1 of OMITB a few weeks ago and I kept noticing how youthful his skin and face seemed. I mean yes, he’s obviously quite a bit older than when I first really became aware of him. But with the extreme work a lot of celebrities seem to undergo these days I was just astounded that if he’s had work done, they did a fantastic job. They allowed him to age, just more gracefully. For my tastes that looks better than looking unnaturally young. And I’m not knocking treatments or plastic surgery at all. I fully believe people should do what will make them feel good about themselves. Just commenting that the trend that celebrities (and honestly influencers and even some family/friends) have currently, where more is more, dramatic changes are great, my preference is still less is more.
