CNN is reporting that Joe Lieberman has passed away.

The former Connecticut senator passed away Wednesday due to complications from a fall in New York. His wife Hadassah and members of his family were by his side.

I didn't always agree with this politics, but I thought he was a good human and wanted what was best for our country.

I didn't appreciate how he handled the latter part of his career - but I do acknowledge that he was a force for good, at least initially.
