I’m considering alternatives for incorporating ephemera icons that don’t fit my photo themes. I’m not necessarily one for punny titles, but I don’t object to creative interpretation.
For instance, I want to use a retro roller skate image with current photos since I haven’t roller skated in decades. I thought to scrap about an upcoming change and reference “roll with it” somewhere in the journaling.
What ideas do you have for alternative icon themes?

A number of years ago Shimelle did a thing where she showed icons from a collection and talked about creative non-literal interpretations for them. Maybe someone else remembers which collection or video it was or some of the examples she gave. I like the idea of using skates or some other wheeled item for a "roll with it" page. I think there was a chameleon in Shimelle's example which could represent change.

I went to a museum that had an exhibit of knights’ armor, swords, etc. I used some cute little dragons on a couple of my pages. Worked out well.
