Fluff-Random (local) news story headlines or anything else

The main headlines in my local paper, which is the Washington Post, (online version) are:

1. "VA governor Youngkin arrived like a GOP star, but arena failure clouds legacy." This is in reference to attempts to move the Capitals and Wizards from DC to Virginia, and the article calls it a "political setback". This is excellent because we want him to have all the political setbacks that can come his way, because he is an awful person. 

2. "Baltimore begins massive and dangerous cleanup as first relief funds approved." 

A local new story The Coolest Thing Made in Delaware may save more then 20,000 lives a year.

Todays headline is that our longtime mayor died, just two month after his wife of almost 50 years died.

The next article and picture were of crypto creep Sam Bankman-Fried. Ick.

Some days it just doesn’t pay to read the paper. Sigh.

On a brighter note, after announcing plans to make a “Buddy Bench” to honor the mayor, in less than a day people donated 1730 milk jugs. A minimum of 1000 jugs are need to make a bench. It was a nice thing to hear since he was a Democratic mayor in the middle of Trump land. And a big FU to the vial trumpers that are celebrating and cheering over the mayors death. I hate people.
