I used a sketch from Paige Evans. She has a free cut file in her Facebook Group (Paige Evans - Happy Scrappy Place) that I downloaded. She also has a Make With Me Monday video you can check out. She layered pentagons on top and stitched each one. I just cut them out and put patterned paper and pictures under them. Sketchy Saturday March 30 I used Echo Park's My Dog collection to make a page about my brother's family's new puppy. Puppy Love

What a fun sketch, justjac! And I love what you did with it with the sweet photos of the new family member and all the puppy papers and images.

Thanks for the fabulous sketch justjac . I love playing around with background shapes, and this was the perfect sketch to get me out of my scrappy funk. I chose to make the pentagons into cutouts. The gorgeous kit is Peppermint Twist by gina - I am convinced that she made it just for me, because it is the colours of my Christmas tree (my indoor tree, not the one in the photos) and my Christmas outfit.

I've had this sketch printed out for months and finally got around to trying it. I'm not super happy with the results - subbing hexagons for the pentagons really wasn't the best idea I've had.
