From previous posts on the board, I replaced my Glitter Art glue with the Bearly Art glue. I loved that glue, but I did not know I had to keep the pin in it while crafting and it was difficult to keep it from clogging up. I finally gave up and bought some Bearly Art glue.
1) What tip do you use? The smallest one seems super tiny. Just not looking forward to having to squish super hard to get the glue to come out.
2) Anything I need to know to keep it from clogging up? Like do I need to keep it closed even while crafting?
Thanks so much!

When I'm crafting, I don't put the pin in it. When I start to have to squeeze harder to get the glue out, I rinse out the tip. I try to remember to put the green stopper on when I'm finished. Sometimes I've forgotten & it's just had the pin in it for a month & it's been fine for me.

I love my Bear glue. I don't put the pin back in while in a crafting session, unless it's going to be a while before using it. I turn it upside down in a small jar. I used the smallest nozzle. It is teeny-tiny, but I don't use a lot. And the teeny-tiny nozzle is perfect for intricate die-cut glueing.
I don't think it's hard to squeeze. I use the bigger 4-ounce bottle. I know some people refill the smaller tubes from other companies with the Bear refill.
One thing I recommend...shake the bottle from side to side (not up, down) for a couple seconds at the beginning of your craft session to mix it up in case it has separated. Kind of like the distress sprays or paint. (I got this tip from the company directly after my glue seemed runny.)

I love the Bearly Arts glue. It’s the best most consistent liquid glue I’ve ever used. I use the fine tip and I don’t have to squeeze hard. I purchased the rubber cap when I got my glue. I put that on while crafting when I’m not using my glue. I try to remember to “burp” the bottle when I’m done crafting but if I forget, I can just stick the pin thru the cap and get a good flow next time I use it.

I love BA glue! I have the super fine tip on it but I mostly use it for die cuts so control is usually my priority. You really don’t need much to get a good stick either, although if you use more you can more wiggle time.
I switch between using the little cap and the pin - no real rhyme nor reason to my choice. I get distracted easily so there are times when I need to clear it with the pin because I’ve seen it aside a bit too long between glueings during a crafty session. I don’t do anything fancy with turning it upside down on a damp paper towel or anything. Maybe I should. I had considered getting a glue lounger/rest by Make it by Marko but I’m space challenged and lazy. I have a little holder for the pin when I’m not using it so it’s easy to set aside and grab again as needed.

I just bought a small bottle to try. I LOVE this glue (and the 2 nozzles and pin that came with it!). I dont use liquid glue a lot, so it lasts me forever. I take the nozzle off each time after I am done crafting and put the closed one back on (ya, Im crazy like that, I accept that).

Thank you ladies. This has been helpful. I will try out the fine tip, and I too got the rubber cap attachment and will remember to use it. Looking forward to trying this out. I am putting together some bunny die cuts this evening.

Perhaps you can try Karen Burniston’s tip: when crafting, have a short glass tumbler or deep bowl with a slightly damp paper towel in the bottom. NOT wet, just barely damp. In between moments of using the glue, turn it upside down so the tip is in the paper towel. That keeps it from drying out. Then when you finish using it, put the pin in.
Karen sells a glue bottle and tip with a cap that has a built in pin. I use that exclusively now, although I use Lineco glue (another recommendation from Karen Burniston). Really thick glues don’t do as well with Karen’s glue tip. I don’t have experience with the Bearly Arts glue, but at least putting your glue bottle upside down in the paper towel should keep your glue from drying out.

Like scrapnnana suggested I keep it upside down in a jar with a damp baby wipe in the bottom while crafting. I use a le fermière terracotta yogurt jar.
