If you want a jump start to creating this upcoming quarter, think about having some fun the first weekend in April. Four days of extra push to play with paper and glue.
If you are a member of a challenge team, you will be earning double points for EVERYTHING CRAFTY YOU DO over those four days--so every hour you spend crafting or organizing you craft stash, every challenge you set or meet, every page you construct, every photo you stick onto one of those pages, every card you create. If you have not signed up for a team yet, head on over to the Q-2 Team sign-up thread and sign up!
Linda and Shakti will have chat threads set up so team members can cheer each other on. If you want to trash talk the opposing team, this thread could be the place to do that. Whatever it takes to shake off the doldrums and dive into action!
There will be a Double Stuff Weekend each month this quarter and the others may have extra prompts and activities, but for the April event, we will be playing with all the newly minted Q-2 challenges as they fall into the Q-2 Challenges thread. I will link that and any other information into this post as it happens.
In the mean time, order those photos printed. Stock up on glue and other crafty supplies. Hide some of the Easter treats so you can have sustenance while you play. Freeze Easter dinner leftovers so your family will be fed next weekend.
Who wants to play?

I am signed up for a weekend crop for the first time in ages so I should be able to collect a few points.

I am signed up for a weekend crop for the first time in ages so I should be able to collect a few points. More than a few! Ten points per hour crafting, twenty points if you are crafting with a crew, and DOUBLE that for that weekend. You don't even have to finish anything and you will have a ton of points!
Don't forget to pop in some challenges that fit with what you will be working on at the crop to the Q-2 challenge thread, so that will be even MORE points to chase after on the weekend!

Woohoo!! I don't have any plans next weekend, so I should be able to get quite a few pages done, with any luck.

Who is playing this weekend? I hope to get at least one double pager done. Started it this morning, but the creative juices were not flowing smoothly so letting it sit on my scrapcounter while I go on to non scrappy things for awhile.

I'm planning to - I have photos on my desk to finish up March 2013 and I printed 4 photos to finish up March 2023 so that's where I'm starting. Hoping to work on those this afternoon and evening. Saturday and Sunday are pretty busy during the day but hoping for evening scrappy time then also. And if I'm reading correctly that Monday is included, I should be able to take advantage of that as well.

Sadly, my four-day weekend crafty retreat in Maine is NEXT weekend, but I'm doing my best. I guess instead of getting quadruple points one weekend I'll get double points for two. That's also pretty good.
