I didn't set any goals last month because I knew it would be a busy month. I did get over 100 layouts put away in albums and I finally finished my Disney album. This month I will only have the first half of the month to scrapbook and then the rest of the month will be very busy so I don't have lofty goals this month. April goals: Scrap 4 layouts Edit and order pictures Top to bottom scrapbook room cleaning I've started my third layout for the month and also got started on choosing and editing pictures. I'm still avoiding my third goal so far.

Do the day trips pages. Pretty light and fluffy. Might need to get pp for the beachy layouts. Dug around the paper bin, found that I have an entire beachy paper pad. Haven't started the layouts, but love that I already have the paper.
While digging, found a pad of birthday pp that I thought I chose not to buy, did buy, then later regretted not buying. But I did buy it!! YAY! I have so many birthday photos, it's not even funny.
I still haven't scrapped yet, but definitely looking for a window of time to do so. Spring is very busy with work stuff, kids' school stuff, gardening stuff.
I also found another year of school portraits unscrapped that I added to my upstairs bin.

Monthly - Mar '24- Feb '20- Mar '20 - Apr '20 Other - Use a digital stamps bought at Studio Calico in Dec. The sets are The Grove, Away We Go, Stay Wonderful, and Alpine Valley. - Try to scrapbook a bit each day 12/16Up to date on this years book and I finished February for 2020. I haven't used the digital stamps I listed yet. I did look through the Covid scrapbook stuff I collected. Trying to decide what I want to use as I am starting March 2020. I remember being worried and confused at that time. I think the scrapbook stuff will be for later months when the rules and norms had settled.

How did everyone do in April? Ready to set some May goals?
I didn't really set goals in April but I got May and June 2015 scrapped as well as Feb 2024. I also purged and reorganised my scrappy space.

Oof....well, here goes. I had a brainstorm, (or a crazy idea, either way...) Since today is the first day of the month, it is a good day for decisions and declaring things. (nope, not a joke lol) I also enjoy gameifying things so here goes... I am taking a road trip in this summer that will put me by 2 scrapbook stores. If I do the following things, I will give myself permission to buy just about anything at these stores. I will 1) not shop for scrapbook supplies for April, May, June and July. 2) Fully participate in the challenges for my team (joined said team to get off my duff and scrapbook lol) and 3) make a minimum of 50 (50/4=12.5) LO before I leave, thus also doing the 50 LO before shopping challenge. This will be kind of hard, because I really wanted the Hello Spring stamp and die set at scrapbook.com. The die was still not stocked (and still isn't) and then the stamp set also sold out. Sigh. I just know both are going to come in at the same time and I'll want them...but I also feel like I need to use what I have. Whew!! A lot to think about... So for April: 1) Participate in the team challenges 2) Make 12 LO 3) Prep at least 10 LO for the crop I am going to 4) Make 2 birthday cardsLO completed 8/12 - I did ok, I didn't really do any challenges, and I made 8 LO instead of 12. But I did get my page kits prepped and made 2 birthday cards, yay!

In addition to putting my craft room back together, I'd like to make a start on these: make 12 scrapbook layouts (13/12) done!- start NYC 2023 trip album
- complete SCT Allison Davis sketch classes (Jan/Feb/Mar/April)
- complete a layout using a Shimelle class
- complete month-in-review layouts (Jan/Feb/Mar)
create one birthday card & mail by April 12th (1/1) done!
Looking back at April, I did a LOT more moving furniture/organizing than actual crafting. I did a brief pause last week to participate in an online scrapbooking event. I was able to get 13 layouts done. Had the event not happened, I would have done 1 whole card for the month of April. May should look different, but more on that in May's thread!
