I've ordered the February 2024 photos I'm planning on joining mom's crop this afternoon as well as the SG Scrap with Debbie this evening so I need to figure out what photos to focus on.

This month I need to get a handle on the photos I packed to take to the crop in March. I had included some groups of pic's with the page kits I had hoped to use, but of course I over estimated the number of pages I would actually put together. So now I need to continue stowing away the papers and cardstock, and decide if I will store the kits as kits or reintegrate those supplies into their previous homes. Either way, I think I need to extricate the photos b/c with my memory they could be lost forever if I forget which kit they were in... Working on my Donna Challenge sample. Hope to finish that today. I have three birthday cards to create and send this month. Not sure what else I will accomplish. I know I will be visiting my ds's family just after mid month, so hoping to come back with another bright new batch of pic's to scrap. Not yet finished the hockey photos I want to scrap for my 23/34 winter album.
Need to create a sample for a Sketchy Saturday I am hosting.
On-going, each month I try to assemble the calendar page for that month for next year's calendar, so I will try to get one done for April. I need to keep my Travel tub out. I am working on scrapping our trip to Orlando in February. One ddil has just shared a ton of photos of their road trip to Vegas, the grande canyon, and Phoenix over spring break, and another ddil has promised me photos of their family's trip to Hawaii over the same period. So much to do; yet I sit here chatting on-line... Go figure...

In addition to putting my craft room back together, I'd like to make a start on these: make 12 scrapbook layouts (13/12) done!- start NYC 2023 trip album
- complete SCT Allison Davis sketch classes (Jan/Feb/Mar/April)
- complete a layout using a Shimelle class
- complete month-in-review layouts (Jan/Feb/Mar)
create one birthday card & mail by April 12th (1/1) done!

sounds like you all have much more concrete plans than I do. I got derailed last month and I still need to figure what I still have left from the March to-do list.

Oof....well, here goes. I had a brainstorm, (or a crazy idea, either way...) Since today is the first day of the month, it is a good day for decisions and declaring things. (nope, not a joke lol) I also enjoy gameifying things so here goes...
I am taking a road trip in this summer that will put me by 2 scrapbook stores. If I do the following things, I will give myself permission to buy just about anything at these stores. I will 1) not shop for scrapbook supplies for April, May, June and July. 2) Fully participate in the challenges for my team (joined said team to get off my duff and scrapbook lol) and 3) make a minimum of 50 (50/4=12.5) LO before I leave, thus also doing the 50 LO before shopping challenge. This will be kind of hard, because I really wanted the Hello Spring stamp and die set at scrapbook.com. The die was still not stocked (and still isn't) and then the stamp set also sold out. Sigh. I just know both are going to come in at the same time and I'll want them...but I also feel like I need to use what I have. Whew!! A lot to think about...
So for April:
1) Participate in the team challenges 2) Make 12 LO 3) Prep at least 10 LO for the crop I am going to 4) Make 2 birthday cards
LO completed 8/12

I didn't set any goals last month because I knew it would be a busy month. I did get over 100 layouts put away in albums and I finally finished my Disney album. This month I will only have the first half of the month to scrapbook and then the rest of the month will be very busy so I don't have lofty goals this month.
April goals: Scrap 4 layouts Edit and order pictures Top to bottom scrapbook room cleaning

Finally want to finish my 2023 Japan album… we’re thinking about maybe possibly going again this year so I want to finish that trip before I go on another. I may have to purchase another citrus twist album though so I can fit it all in 😆 I love scrapping trips in tn size but the albums just don’t hold the same page count

I think my only goal for April is to get my mojo back. March was a bust and I'm feeling like I've lost my excitement for scrapbooking. Though it hasn't stopped me from shopping for supplies 🙄

Well my planner is “up to date” in that I’ve done pictures & notes but I haven’t been at all creative since mid Feb
I switched back to horizontal day format for my week pages in January because I sort of thought I was in a rut with the vertical day pages. I do like the photo size better. But creativity hadn’t been easy. Oh well. If this isn’t just a dry spell and I struggle thru June I’ll go back to vertical in July
Or maybe I’ll just stop matching and do whatever each week. Who says that each week has to match directions? Would that be too weird? Maybe only each month has to be cohesive and the next month can be what ever? I mean, these are only for me. And I’m quite boring without the dog so it’s just me going to work each day and what I’m eating. Not even sure why I’m still doing it.
Also when I switched back I said I ought to be comfortable with blank spaces like I was in the start but that hasn’t happened either I panic if I have no photo
I need to free up my style I think. Any suggestions?

Or maybe I’ll just stop matching and do whatever each week. Who says that each week has to match directions? is each week a spread or each month? I think do the orientation that works for you for any given week or month - personally I would keep a spread cohesive but not beyond that necessarily. But I'm also not one to worry about my albums being cohesive so...take that as you will.

I THOUGHT I had finished April 2023 up...turns out I finished up the photos I had printed for April but somehow I missed printing half of them. So that's the next project - print the rest of April - and then I'll go back to working on my big kids Jan 2024
and in retrospect, I wonder if that's why I had a note to finish printing MARCH 2023 after Easter? I saw that, looked, Easter was April, and March was printed so...deleted it.

I need to print off another batch of photos for my mom for her scrapbooks. I told her that I would after Easter but she is taking the kids to the zoo Friday so I think I will wait and do it this weekend. CVS has this dumb two-step log-in process now so I have to be ready to log in to her account, then call her to let her know the passcode email is coming, and then wait for her to text or forward the passcode so I can finish logging in and start uploading photos.
My son's baseball season (ugh -- I'm so not a sportsball mom) starts at the end of this month so I/we have daytrip plans for the first three weekends of April. After that, we'll have a baseball game to attend every Saturday (except Mothers' Day weekend and Fathers' Day weekend which is nice) from April 27 through the end of June. I don't know how much scrapping I will get in if I'm gone every Saturday this month but we shall see. I do have his baseball photos from last year scrapped already so at least there's that.
I am still plugging away at my wedding album and collecting kits and templates to use for our Spain trip this summer.

My dd was here for Easter and looking at 2023 PL albums. Apparently I didn’t print out photos for several layouts, just put sticky notes as a reminder. Soooo, that’s what I’m doing this week. I really wanted to make a blank traveler’s notebook to take on a trip next week for journaling. If I don’t get to it, I can always pack a little notebook. I love the ease of having all the words done and then coming home and creating some type of mini later.

Currently I have Min-Thur in a column on the left page & Fri -Sun plus one extra space on the right page. I’m just wondering if it’s the layout or my mojo is missing. I’ve seen a few iG pages lately that I liked so maybe that’ll spark something.

I’m back at our Michigan home for the next 2 months. i’m creating a 9x12 mini album for our stay. I’m using the new SS travel line and the last VB travel collection. I’m used to 6x8 albums but I like 9x12 so far.
I also need to sort through photos on my cell phone / icloud. I have over 40,000 currently on my iphone.😳
Other plans are to attend a LSS Garage Sale and the Great Lakes Mega Meet. They are held about an hour away respectively.

I may have to purchase another citrus twist album though so I can fit it all in 😆 I love scrapping trips in tn size but the albums just don’t hold the same page count I'm going to Japan next March. I'm excited to both buy supplies there and scrap my trip when I get home. Did you find any particular art or craft supplies while you were there that you recommend? My son lives there but is very non-interested when I ask him about arts and paper crafts stuff lol - although, he did look for washi tape once when I asked him to and then declared to me that it doesn't exist there lol. He just moved right beside a 2-story Daiso and I'm incredibly jealous. It's his final year of uni so my husband and I are going for his graduation next year. It will be cherry blossom season then so the photos are sure to be amazing. Anyway, my goals for April 2024 are: Memory Planner Feb & March 2024 Finish Prep, Plan, and Play Class Buy and start Miss Freddy's photo organizing class Organize my memory planner supplies so it's portable for bringing to my kitchen table

Honestly my goal for April is to do, well, literally anything scrappy. I started a graduate-level program last year that's for my industry (work is paying for it thankfully!) and I just turned in the last of our four papers that were due before this summer's term starts. They've been occupying almost every weekend since last August and I haven't scrapped anything, have barely done any cross-stitching, etc. Can't wait to get back to crafting!

I finished up scrapping Jan 2024 in my big kids album (from my March to-do list) and the rest of the April 2023 photos should arrive soon. Next up will be the three missing layouts from April 2013...

My goal is to just try to jump back in.
I haven't actually scrapped in two years. It's making me miserable. I have to accept that I don't & won't have a room to myself to scrap in, but I need to still find time to put together layouts.
My April goals (and beyond) are:
Print Jan-March 2024 photos (instead of a whole freaking year at once, like I did last year, ugh!)
Work on easy subjects. School photos are pretty easy as long as I know the year of the pic.
Do the day trips pages. Pretty light and fluffy. Might need to get pp for the beachy layouts.
Do the kid's big surgery stay pages. Much harder, because it's so emotional still (well, for me anyway. Kid's not fussed)
Jot down scrappy notes by month, so when I do get to 2024 photos, I will have some thoughts & context.

-Keep up with my memory planner. That has been going well. -Prepping big time for WITL. I've got my album set up, with a loose formula, and lots of "Now" "Present" cards from AE Kits in pockets. -that's about it! I'm trying to get outside for daily bike rides, working with my seedlings for the garden. -We're going to get a kitchen this summer!!! Total gut of my 1952 kitchen. There will be a few before/after layouts in the fall.
