I saw this on a Schitt's Creek fan page. The Rose family's mansion from the first episode of Schitt's Creek is for sale: 30 Fifeshire Rd TorontoI had a look around the area on Google Maps, and it looks like a normal (albeit affluent) suburb. There are a lot of big houses, and some normal average sized houses, and then this gated mansion just plonked down in the middle of it - weird! You too can be part of Schitt's Creek folklore for a cool C$17,888,000! I would love to know what some of the other non-castle-like houses usually sell for in that street/area.

AussieMegThis mansion is 24,000 sq ft, which is huge. It is in an extremely affluent area of Toronto, close to St. Andrew's school. This is a very exclusive area. Housing prices are high in Toronto, and this price is more of an exception than the rule. A middle of the road type home is about 1,000,000.00, yes, one million dollars. Housing is very expensive right now.

My next door neighbour's house and the house two doors down from me both sold for just over $1.6 million within the last year, so yeah, I totally get high house prices!! It's insane. And I'm in what I would call a middle class suburb. Thanks for the feedback on this particular part of Toronto.

It has been sold 10 times, listing prices have been all over the place apparently. You would need a team of full time dusters with all that detailed wood work. The outside is beautiful.

It's really rather overwhelming hideous! My poor little mid-mod soul just can't take the amount of 'stuff' everywhere ... and I first thought that the rectangle on the floor of the basement at the bottom of the stairs was a hockey rink, so that was a big disappointment when I realized it wasn't, lol!

I don’t think the decor will show off my Lego models very well.
Also, the main hallway and stairs reminded me of a department store I used to visit as a child. 😄

A quick search on Realtor dot ca shows that one is the high end of the street: Fifeshire Rd TorontoYou might have to zoom in to focus on the specific street - but there are 5 listings on that street, ranging from 6 million to the 17 million of this one…..
