Path of totality here. Cloudy, but could clear out a little.

Visiting my son in path of totality, but cloudy - oh well! We've had a good weekend regardless.

I’m so jealous of everyone with clear skies today! We’ll be at 65-70% here in MN but it’s completely overcast with a chance of rain. I bought my kid some of the paper eclipse glasses and then forgot to give them to her before school 🤦🏻♀️ so I had to make a special trip to run them to her at school, just in case the sun makes an unexpected appearance. She’ll be on the bus home for the last hour of it.

In Dallas. It was very overcast but the clouds are breaking up. It is barely beginning and I could see a nibble out of the sun.
I am working today so peeking out every 15 minutes or so.

We're in the path of 83% eclipse. It's sunny, no clouds.

Just watched the eclipse over Mazatlan. So very cool! I envy those of you who will see it live!
And I was just outside and it is kind of eerily quiet.

Am at my volunteer job with a help agency. Most volunteerstook the day off. Very few people are calling for help. It is as if the world went on hold.

Incredibly cloudy here. Almost no blue sky visible. I haven't seen the sun since about 10:30 this morning, and that was hours before the eclipse even began.

Thank goodness our clouds didn’t impede the view. During totality the clouds obstructed the sun for about a minute but other than that we had a pretty good view. It was amazing! I hope all our students experienced it.

Totality. We had a big cloud that blocked the diamond both times but we got several good moments in view.

I think we were at 94%, but it was pretty cloudy today. However, with the glasses on, it was pretty easy to see. I'm in downtown Houston, and there were so many people outside. Reminded me of that scene from Independence Day where they were all waiting for the aliens to land.

We were in a 99% path but it was cloudyish at times. It did break just before the totality and we got dusky dark. Of course now it's bright and sunny.

It was cloudy in my N TX area, but that just made the pics even better, I think! It was so cool when it went dark. That part didn’t last as long as I expected, but wow!

Well despite the clouds in my city, the sun wasn’t covered! So got to experience a total solar eclipse. It was awesome.

I had to make the file smaller. It’s not actually that blurry in real life.

That was amazing! The clouds broke enough for us to see the whole thing off and on, mostly on. It got dark as night and the security lights came on. And much cooler. Awesome.

We were actually able to get some peeks through breaks in the clouds. My 3rd graders were very excited!

Just watched the eclipse over Mazatlan. So very cool! I envy those of you who will see it live! And I was just outside and it is kind of eerily quiet. We noticed that as it got the darkest here, even the birds and bugs were quiet and they started talking as the sun was coming back out. I sort of thought the dogs might go a little nuts but they didn’t. With the full cloud cover and it going dark so quickly like that I was half waiting for the dementors to come flying out of the sky.

We were in the 95% zone in 2017, but only 20% this time... It was overcast, and sprinkling and I was driving at "peak viewing time" and didn't notice anything significant.

We had excellent totality viewing I thought. It was a great day. Warm and just some high clouds. It got so cold and quiet for a few minutes. The sky and darkness was so cool and almost eerie. I hope everyone who wanted to was able to view it and enjoyed their experience no matter what they ended up being able to see.

I only took one quick picture and it was at totalilty. It didn’t come out anywhere as cool as it was in person but glad I just sat and watched it and enjoyed it.

Very overcast here with 95% totality, but the whole school went outside and we were lucky enough to get some good breaks in the clouds. The kids were very excited!
