A little early, but hoping this will catch you early on YOUR Saturday, AussieMeg ... I don't know if I am tagging the sources of my sketches properly. craftymom101, could you please thank the {Not} Just for Boys club? And maybe teach me how to tag properly?
This week's sketches are brought to you by the shapes CIRCLE and STAR!
This first one was part of a {Not} Just for Boys promotional e-mail in March. Thanks #notjustforboys! I loved the big circle off the edge and thought that would naturally tie two pages together, and the stars that got me thinking I could use it for a sports LO.
Here is my two pager I put together starting with this sketch:
The second sketch has smaller circles. Thankyou #creativescrapbooker! I saved this one a couple of months ago thinking I might use this for some of my Floriday pic's b/c the circles looked like Mickey ears, but I used it today for a another hockey LO.
For my hockey LO today, I stenciled most of mine with a layered stencil set from Jaded Blossom and some circle masks I cut from scrap cs.
As usual, neither of my LO's is an exact representation of the sketch I started with, but I love working from a sketch cuz it gets my brain going with possibilities.
I hope you take on one or both of these sketches when you get a chance to play with paper!

I chose to use the second sketch. I actually did two versions, and decided to go with this one, using stamps for some of the circles, and the wedges for the big circle - the wedges are from a Katie Pertiet template.

What a FUN way to use the sketch, AussieMeg! Love how you added the pie pieces in place of the large circle. Thanks for playing!
