Hi. I’m in the middle of a time sensitive scrapbook and I’ve jammed up my printer. It’s relatively new and I’ve been loving it. Although, it started to cut off the sides of my photos. I tried to reset it and screwed it up big time. I print off my iPhone. And until today, has been working good. My phone is not recognizing the printer. Well, the printer location. The connection print out reads -
Network is working correctly. Pass
A router/access point channel conflict has been detected.
on the printer screen it says - Connection Method : Not Set
I’ve tried rebooting everything. I think I tried to set it to default and then it wouldn’t let me. Now this. Thanks so much.

Thank you for replying and sending the link. I’ve actually pulled up the entire user guide. There are sections regarding the access point conflict, but it is so confusing to me. I just can’t make sense out of it. I’d gladly reset the whole thing, but there are no instructions about that. Thanks again.

Is there a pending firmware update? Sometimes it’s a firmware issue.
If it’s new is it under warrenty?maybe it’s faulty.

Thank you. It’s something I did accidentally. And now I can’t fix it for the life of me. 😕

Ugh. It seems like PM400s are messing up right and left this month! Mine is not working either. I had to call this number and they are helping me work thru my printer issues. Maybe call them and them them whats going on? Here is the number I called: 562-267-4382

Have you turned your phone completely off and restarted it while having your printer turned off as well? Leave them off / unplugged for a few minuets then turn them back on and see if it helps.

Thanks so much mom. I’ve already rebooted phone and WiFi. I’m pretty sure this is my fault. In trying to fix my margins issues, I thought resetting everything would work. It did not. My phone sees the printer. Printer sees the phone. They just won’t connect. Screen on printer says - Connection Method : Not Set. 😕
Thank you for the phone number. Any tips on who to speak with ?

I have no clue who to speak with. You call and they tell you to press a button for whichever product you have (it’s the first option) and then they connect you to someone. Thinking about your problem though - if you reset everything to factory settings then you should be able to just walk thru their directions for setting it up just like you did the first time.

Hi mom. Thanks for replying. I too thought resetting everything would be easier, than trying something else. But it’s not recognizing each other. There definitely is a lot of different button options to screw stuff up. 🤪 Thanks again for the phone number.

Are you able to go through the setup steps again using the printer buttons?

Since the problem started when you reset the printer, there is likely something missing from the setup. The connection method would be Wifi, yes? I would be happy to try to assist by telling you what my PM400 setup looks like. I can take photos if you think it will help.
You may want to delete the app from your phone and reinstall but first I would try to work it from the printer end.
Another option: Do you have a computer you can connect it to?

OMG thank you so much wordfish. The error info is in my first post.
I don’t have an app. When it says insert memory card, I click on my photo on my iPhone, then click print. It won’t let me click on the print. No printer. But they are both kind of recognizing each other.
Before I tried yesterday to fix margins, it worked great. I did add a new ink cartridge yesterday too. The printer says I did it correctly. I was still using the ink that it came with. I bought printer in November.
No computer. I use the Bluetooth on my iPhone. I have an iPad but have not used it with my printer.

ok there is an epson app you should download. Epson Creative Print. It will give you lots more options. I have an iPhone -- I see you do also. There are at least 2 apps. I'll get a photo for you.
Let me go upstairs and get some photos for you

OK these are the world's worst photos. My PM 400 is in a dark corner on my work desk at the moment. Anyway, here's where you want to start: SETUP IMG_2656 by Seanna., on Flickr Hit the OK button IMG_2658 by Seanna., on Flickr NETWORK SETTINGS IMG_2659 by Seanna., on Flickr (Hit the OK button) WIFI SETUP WIZARD IMG_2661 by Seanna., on Flickr (Hit the OK button) SELECT NETWORK (here's where you pick your Wifi network that your phone is on--if you have two settings like 5 ghz and 2.4, pick the 2.4 both for this AND your phone) Once you use the arrow buttons to pick your network, (Hit the OK button) Then enter the password using the extremely inconvenient alphanumeric cap/lower case keyboard that pops up Here are the two Epson apps. I think you can use either one but Creative Print works better for me IMG_2663 by Seanna., on Flickr This is what the first Creative Print screen looks like when you open the app (I HATE apps, by the way): IMG_2655 by Seanna., on Flickr Notice it says "Printer is Ready." That's pretty reliable. If there's an issue (turned off, wrong wifi network or phone data and not network), it won't find the printer. You can do borders, no borders, and all sorts of collages. It also lets you know how you're doing on ink levels.

You're very welcome. I know how frustrating this can be. I hope it helps, or at least helps send you down the path to get the dang thing working again

Darn it. It still can’t find the printer. It sees it. But it still the same issue as yesterday. At least I’ve downloaded the app and should be in their system. I downloaded the app to my iPad. Should make it easier for them to help me when I call.
I seriously can not thank you enough. That was very kind of you. Not sure why that is not connecting.

I'm on my second PM-400, and I've had a variety of wi-fi connection issues with both. About a year ago, I switched to wired, and I haven't had an issue since. While I hope you can get a fix on the wi-fi connection situation, if you cannot, try connecting your phone (or computer) directly to the printer. (For computer, it's USB to micro USB cord. You may need an adapter for iPhone depending on your port type.)

That just adds to the frustration. Keep us updated!

Thank you scrappieannie. It just seems to me that it’s something I did, since it was working just fine. I’m putting in a Walgreens photo order because I really don’t have a choice. Thank you all so much. 😊

I use the Epson iPrint App to print from my phone to both my eco tank and PM 400. It's also how I scan to my phone. Ive never not used the app and it always works.

This is exactly what finally worked ! The CS person had me set everything back to default. Nope. Still not working. Tried different WiFi / network settings, still nothing. She had me install that iprint app. And it works ! The photos aren’t real clear like previously, but pretty close. I printed all the ones that I need asap. Plus the Walgreen ones. Thank you ALL so much. 💚
