Skillet We wanted to go to the Rolling Stones concert but I refuse to pay those prices. It will be on tv in a couple of years. Best seat in the house is my couch 😀I absolutely agree! We watch a lot of shows on VEEPS. You don't have to deal with drunk/rude people, people who are talking/singing in your ear or cigarette/pot smoke.

The only one for sure is The Avett Brothers and Trampled by Turtles at Alpine Valley, WI--mini vacation with two other couples.
We usually do two or three in the summer/fall. There were a bunch I wanted to see, but many of them, by the time I got to the tickets, were just too much as resale tickets.
We are middle-aged, middle income life-long concert goers, and we are getting priced out way too often.
It sucks that our teenagers like going to concerts and pro-games with us, but for four people to go to a concert/game, we are looking at $400-$1000 PLUS food, gas, merch and possible lodging.

We're going to Jazzfest in New Orleans. The Rolling Stones are playing and we're also excited to see Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Hozier, The Killers, Foo Fighters, Earth, Wind, and Fire, and Widespread Panic. Chris Stapleton, The Wallflowers, Vampire Weekend, Greta Van Fleet, The Revivalists, The Beach Boys, Fantasia, Heart, Joe Bonamassa, Samantha Fish and dozens of other acts are also there. We love New Orleans jazz, Latin music, and all kinds of other music that we hear there. Other than the Beach Boys - that's a great lineup! Lots of my favorites there... There are lots of stages if The Beach Boys aren't to your liking. With over 100 acts, there are lots to choose from.

I totally get that and they WERE good and groundbreaking and Brian Wilson is a genius. Mike Love is an asshole.

Forced? I still love Dave Matthews! I'm no longer a good concert goer - too peoply, I have 3 joint replacements and I need to get up and move, and I have a tiny bladder.

Seeing Chris Stapleton and Kenny Chesney this summer. Will see who is playing in Vegas when we are out there this fall and might try to catch a show there.

I wanted to see Sammy Hagar at Red Rocks but tickets started at $350. Sorry, Red Rocker, too pricey for me.

I am looking forward to Greenday tour with Smashing Pumpkins and Rancid this summer! My little, alternative grunge 90s girl heart will be ready.
Actually have seen most of the shows we had scheduled this year... can't recommend enough:
Trombone Shorty Jon Batiste Samantha Fish JJ Grey & Mofro
I still may consider going to Pink and/or JLo.

Somehow my DD roped me into Lollapalooza this year. We’re there all 4 days, so many to look forward to. Tyler the Creater, Hozier, In This Moment, Blink 182.

We are headed to Dublin to visit my daughter who managed to get tickets for all of us to see Bruce Springsteen there in May. We also have tickets for his concert in Philadelphia that was postponed last year when he became Ill with peptic ulcer which was so disappointing. We were literally pulling out of our driveway to head to the stadium when we heard the news canceling the tour. I hope he is feeling better and we will be able to see both shows this year.

In December the whole family is going to see Chris Stapleton, George Strait, and Little Big Town in Vegas!!!
I noticed today that Wynonna is playing at our state fair in August. I am going to look into that.

We don’t really go to concerts anymore. They have really gotten too expensive and we would rather put the money towards other adventures and experiences.
Although my daughter ( paleo a nurse) and I did go see Nurse Blake together. It’s a great comedy for nurses. Highly recommend if he comes your way, but definitely leave the younger kids and teenagers at home and if you take your DH or SO, they may be fair game in the eyes of Nurse Blake!,!!!

None planned right now. I may go to street parties in June which always have local/regional acts.
