So I can share this here because I can't share with very many people in my real life yet. LOL
My daughter invited me over for lunch yesterday and when I got there, there was a box sitting on the counter with a baby onesie, a rattle, and 2 positive pregnancy tests!
She isn't keeping it a secret, but she hasn't told everyone she wants to tell yet, so she basically gave me a list of who I can't tell. Which is hard!! LOL They have only told their parents and best friends. Their siblings don't even know yet.
I say yikes because UGH. I work for 2 different non profits that support families who lose babies during pregnancy or as a newborn. Not only have I lost 4 babies myself, I hear absolutely unthinkable, heartbreaking stories alllll the time. Almost every day. I wish I could just be excited without all the fear that comes with this very exciting news.
I am excited though!! They just got married in July, and I knew they were both anxious to have a baby, so YAY.
This is my first grandchild!
They were going to wait until Mother's Day to tell everyone because they are having us all over to their new house on Mother's Day, and her first appointment/ultrasound is just before MD. But they are so excited, they couldn't wait.
If you are a praying person, I would appreciate prayers, or even just good juju for her.
