Please stop! They are making me want to watch the drama, but I am not going to pay for them! There is one right now for Drama Box that is on heavy rotation. I want to know what happens, but not for $12.99/week, yes per WEEK!
Anyone else getting these ads? Anyone else intrigued by them? Do you know anyone that subscribes to any of them?

No, never seen those. You're getting them because you stop scrolling and watch and engage with them though. LOL

I don't know how it works sometimes, but I think it's based on your searches, who you follow, the things you look at. It's crazy. I'm afraid to search things sometimes because I know I'll start getting ads for it on FB or IG.
I was talking with a couple of my guy friends and they both said their IG feeds were full of half-dressed women and political posts. They both thought that was what everyone had on their own feeds. They asked was on mine and I told them - cyclists/bikes, art, yarn, and food.

LOL, my DH complains that his Marketplace feed is being clogged with women’s formal dresses and shoes, and I know for a fact he’s not looking up that stuff! 🤣 I told him mine is filled with white shelving units and craft supplies.

Interesting, I noticed one ten minutes ago! I thought it was a book preview and paused to read before I realized it was a film.

Yes, because you watched the video, so now you will be receiving a lot more. I rarely go to IG, but I know it happens on FB too. On Facebook, you can click the ellipses or the X and should stop seeing them. Not sure if there is a place on IG to do that.

I started a book in IG and it was very good. Captured and kept my attention. I played along and bought a few coins for chapters, but then I saw there were over 1,000. I was done. The video clips really catch my attention, too.

I haven’t seen the videos, only the video for the book I got sucked into.

I wonder if it's the same one I watched the other day. A woman and her husband were in a shoe store and she loved a pair of shoes, but they were like $2 or $3k and the saleswoman was snotty. So the husband said we'll take them. Turns out, they were married because her half sister and stepmom made her marry this guy and promised they'll pay for her mother's hospital bills. What they didn't know was the husband was a billionaire.
Sounds like a fun, revenge type of story but not paying to watch it. Too bad someone can't hack it and let everyone watch it for free!

3boysnme The one I am seeing is about a guy (Bob) and girl (Amy) that for some reason got married without seeing/knowing each other. The guy then had to leave the country for work (I assume). He comes back and goes to see his "wife", but she is living with another guy. The guy is actually married to her friend and Amy lives with them. But anyways, Amy ends up working for Bob, except they don't know or recognize each other and that they are married to each other. Bob falls for Amy, but thinks she is married because she wears a wedding ring. Very convoluted story but I want to know how they straighten every thing out, which I know they probably have a happy ending. Maybe in a few months someone will leak the whole thing to YouTube or something. ETA - I read a comment that someone downloaded the app and they could only watch about half of the movie for free and they had to pay to see the rest. They said it is about an hour long.

Yes and if you pause too long on an ad trying to figure out what it's for or could be used for or take a screenshot to show your friend who will be appalled, best of luck trying to get rid of it! Lol! My friend and I are always getting targeted with things that we laugh about and send to each other. I know I shouldn't engage but I can't help it sometimes. The plus size period panties will never, ever give up hope that one day I'll place an order. Never. Today it's Skims nipple bras. I didn't know this was a thing but apparently some women WANT a pushup bra that shows nipples under their shirts. It has fake nipples. I personally no longer have nipples due to my mastectomy, which I view as a plus and not a negative, but now I'm feeling old fashioned and frumpy and thinking I must need this bra. 🤣🤣

If you want to watch them, you could try looking for them on dailymotion.com, I've found things on there that are not available on youtube.

I get them on Tik Tok. Can we say "worst acting ever?!" But I want to know what happens too. I get both the mini movies and mini books. And, yes, I know its because I look at them. But, in my defense, they are in between regular BookTok videos. LOL

Yeas crappy acting I did not ‘bite’ so to speak and this app eventually showed me 3-4 trailers for this story & I really got angry when the step mother smacked her across the face I’m just not up for another monthly bill. I have no issue paying for things but I want to pay ONCE and get to watch what I want to watch in its ENTIRETY As for the book adds - I get the ones that give you 3 chapters then stops and they want $2.99 or $4.99 for each CHAPTER going forward - again hell no! That would be ridiculous since there’s so many chapters it would be like $100 for the whole book and there’s obviously no editing to be paid for as mistakes abound in the free chapters - & I’m not really a picky grammar person or anything either. I buy books all the time. I have no issue paying for what I read. But I do need some value for my money I haven’t paid that much for a book since college text books ( which also weren’t worth it but required )
