I decided to treat myself and I’m going to London for the first tone May 11-17th. I’m super excited but I usually plan trips months in advance cause I like the planning part of the trip. I’ve decided to spend a couple of nights in different areas like the Westminster area to Tate modern area, and theCovent garden area. I’m also open to suggestions. I’m hoping to be in 2 areas to do the stuff in that area. I want reasonably priced but nice, clean and in a safe area. I might splurge far a couple on nights if it was really worth it.
Please give any recommendations 😃

My daughter and I stayed at the Citizen M, across from the Tower of London in September. It's right at an underground station, so it was incredibly convenient. Clean as a whistle, a fantastic breakfast buffet and coffee bar. The views were magnificent, and it was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend it. We loved every minute there.

I was just in London and stayed at the Marriott Grosvenor Square - I didn’t love it though it was very clean and convenient. There are two Marriott Grosvenor Squares and I think we stayed at the less nice one lol.
We stayed in the Mayfair neighborhood which I loved - it is an upscale neighborhood, walking distance to everything but a bit quieter.

We’ve stayed at the Conrad which is lovely and a tube station is right across the street. We were able to walk to a number of places.

We stayed at the Novotel across from the Tower of London. The hotel was very clean and steps from the tube station. It was heaven to be so close when we came home after a busy day. However, we didn’t much around there other than the tower and there weren’t a lot of restaurants open at night. There was a Pret À Manger around the corner where the four of us had breakfast for the same coat as the hotel breakfast. We ate there every day!

We stayed at The Cumberland (formerly the Hard Rock), right near Oxford Street and Hyde Park. DH travels to London a couple times of year for work and picked this hotel for both the location and convenience. London is super easy to get around by Tube, so there really is no need to stay in more than one area (unless you want to for some other reason!).
