I’m happy with the day also. I didn’t get everything done, but I wasn’t planning on it. I’ve got one of Meghann’s and three of Becky’s done and I’ve got the bases done for both of Virginia’s. I’m really liking what I’ve done so far and my husband has been suitably impressed! Definitely glad I signed on for this one. For me it’s been the best C & C I’ve done. So far they’ve really nailed it.

It’s over 😭 I always get so sad when these events end. Luckily I have PLENTY to still complete from the event 😂 I thought the prize give aways tonight were above and beyond. I sadly never win anything, but maybe the peas did?
So what did you think of the event?
Overall, I think it was wonderful. I LOVED the all-layout format. I hope this continues. They’re the only event doing all layouts that I can think of!
Really no major glitches or hiccups. They do a top notch event 100% hands down. They are the industry best, IMO.
It seems I’m not the only one wishing for some diversified/varied collections and look to the box. They took quite a bit of time to address it tonight in the closing because of emails they got. I really do understand it’s the time of year and that manus aren’t doing a lot of gender neutral or masculine collections period. It’s sadly a strong floral trend in the industry. Still hopeful it’s a reminder that when getting a peek, at for example, Cedar house and Bea Valient, that maybe they pick the Cedar House option knowing most of their other choices in the box will be overly spring/feminine. Fingers crossed for that to be the case next year. I’ve decided I loved the event enough to sign up again for next spring. As long as mini books stay out of it. 😆
I will probably sign up to do the holiday box too, because I tend to enjoy the variety of those. I just want to wait and read the description and see the cost. Please don’t pick all pink and girly Christmas collections though, SCT. Thank you. 😂
Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

It exceeded my expectations! Well organized, generous product, and great pages. When I opened the box, I didn't care for some of the lines. Let's just say that I needed to get out of my comfort zone and those pages I made from the collections I disliked, well I really like them. Good learning lesson for me!

It was so much fun. I do wish I was able to get together with others to do it but I don’t have any scrapping friend IRL. Overall I was pleased by the collections and end results as well as teaching.
I do wish there was more of a variety of themes/papers. It would be fun to have some fall or even summer and winter thrown in there. Like of they began getting ideas now and let suppliers know we’ll need 1,000 of this summer theme or winter theme.
Though I like pocket pages I really wasn’t fond of Jess’s class. Not sure why. Maybe it was the paper or that it’s not my pocket page style. I did her other pocket page class earlier this year which I liked so I’m surprised hers was my least favorite.
I got 18 pages done this weekend so I’m feeling accomplished.

I got 18 pages done this weekend so I’m feeling accomplished. Wow, 18 pages! Impressive! I got 6 done and I'm so pleased with myself lol. I think this was my favourite scrapbooking event ever (I've done them all from SCT since Spring 2022). I really, really enjoyed it, kept up a good pace that worked for me, and learned a few things. coloradoscrapper I agree about pushing outside our comfort zone - I wouldn't have purchased some of the collections but I'm so pleased with what we made with them. To the pea that asked about winning prizes, I can't scroll back a page and see who it was, but I just wanted to say that I have won a prize twice at these events. Last fall I won the Yeti cup holder that Virginia Nebel makes - and it's the best thing ever, I use it literally every day. I bring two Yeti's to work - one with coffee for the morning, and one with water + Mio for the afternoon. The holder makes it super easy to hold 2 Yetis in my hands plus still have one hand free to unlock my office door. The other prize I won was last Spring - it was the complete collection of Simple Stories Simple Vintage Berry Fields. It was a huge kit, they gave everything in the entire collection. It's super exciting to see your name pulled and then to get the package in the mail - and they ship quickly!

Wow, marg that’s great! You’re lucky! I had to laugh that Catherine pulled out a persons name to win AGAIN for the grand prize but it wasn’t the grand prize. That lady would have won twice. She needs to go buy some lotto tix

@scrappingme - I missed that about the grand prize draw, I wasn't paying full attention - imagine winning that twice? What did she end up winning instead?

They put per back because she had already won a prize and they still had a gift card to give away. So they redrew. And the.n put both those winners back into the pile for the grand prizes.

Tonight, I finished all the pages plus the two bonus pages for a total of 30 pages! I feel quite pleased with myself. I'm going to work on the bonus challenge tomorrow and then call it a wrap. I will definitely participate again next April.

Yes, if you made the two bonus pages plus all the pages from every class, that's thirty! AND then I made 3 more pages for the Happy Hour challenge so that's 33 pages for me.
