Has anyone noticed over the last few months (or is it just me?) a lack of reviews on scrapbook items at the "big two" online scrapbook stores? I have left reviews, but when I go to look at those same items there are no reviews listed. It is kind of irritating not to be able to read about an item besides what the manufacturer included in their blurb. At scrapbook.com the only things I can find reviews for are their own branded items

I have noticed that too. I leave reviews with ACOT under my order details to get my points.
I wonder if there is a disconnect between that and the review section under the actual item?
Going to test this out real quick

Hmm, when I click on write review, nothing pops up. Matt at ACOT could you alert the department for this issue? Our reviews do not show up and I am not able to write a review on a recently received product on the actual product page. Thanks for any tech help!

That being said, I do see the issue you're describing about nothing happening when you click on the Write a Review button - we'll look into that and get that fixed ASAP.

Hmm, when I click on write review, nothing pops up. IIRC there was no button previously; I simply clicked on the empty text box below each listed/purchased item & began typing. There now is a Write A Review button that I click on to get a pop-up, but I cannot type/insert words on the pop-up screen! I do see the issue you're describing about nothing happening when you click on the Write a Review button - we'll look into that and get that fixed ASAP. Uncertain whether this was previously corrected, but please note that I'm currently unable to leave product reviews (as described above). TIA.

I’m not sure if this has happened to others, but I have reviews listed as pending at ACOT. They’ve been pending for days, maybe weeks.

Hi all, this is something we're still actively working on. We unfortunately have no way to manually approve the reviews that were marked as "processing". Those are getting blocked due to too many reviews coming from the same device (an anti-spam measure, we're told). I met with Shopper Approved last week and they're working on a solution for us, but it will require some changes to how their system works and they're not yet sure how long that would take. For now, the best I can say is that any product reviews submitted through the survey link you receive in your email are going through correctly, and any reviews submitted with the Write A Review button (either on the product page or your order status page) should go through also up until it believes you've submitted too many. Sorry for the ongoing frustration. For those with reviews that are stuck, if nothing else, we can add points manually for you once this is resolved. Uncertain whether this was previously corrected, but please note that I'm currently unable to leave product reviews (as described above). TIA. We did look at this when you mentioned it previously - I think what's happening when the pop-up appears blank is that particular product wasn't synced over correctly and so the review system doesn't know about it. If you'd like to send me a couple examples I can see if we can reproduce on our end or not.

That makes sense, because when I ran into that problem it was on orders where I had a lot of individual paper sheets, which certainly would come across as numerous reviews in a row from the same device. It appears you've confused me with another poster (perhaps pantsonfire, whom I quoted), since I've never encountered/mentioned this issue before. Note I neither received a survey link via email nor can even input one review using the button, since the pop-up is blank for every product purchased!

It appears you've confused me with another poster Apologies, that's quite possible In the case where the popup is blank for every product - do you have an ad blocker turned on? That's the only way I was able to reproduce this - it seems like certain adblock lists cause issues with displaying the Shopper Approved content on the page. Turning it off on our site worked for me. I think that also could be causing the issues in the OP from a few months ago - with that same ad blocker on, the product pages were not displaying any reviews. If anyone else is having that problem, maybe give that a try and let me know if it helps.

Hi all, sorry to dig up an old thread - just wanted to follow up on this. For anyone interested, we decided to switch back to our old product review system for now. It doesn't have quite as many features, but it will at least be more reliable. If you had any reviews that were stuck as pending or that you otherwise didn't get points for, please send me a message with your email address and how many points you should have gotten, and we'll get those added manually for you.
