I need help identifying this font (the name HERRICK) ASAP. I tried using font finders online but no luck. I can’t even bring myself to say why but it’s not for happy reasons. Any leads would be appreciated. Thank you! Lisa B

Monkton Italiac is similar, but not an exact match.

My ex was trying to remember the font used on his father’s headstone to have a headstone made for his mom’s grave. He just wasn’t thinking straight and kept stressing that they had to match. I took a photo of the father’s headstone and told him to send it to the company that made headstones in that area. He did that and they knew immediately what it was. They also had the original order from his father’s headstone 10 years previous to verify. Is this a possibility for you?

The only issue is the age of the headstone, we live in New England so have some really old ones. This is far from the oldest but is still about 120 years old. Thanks to all for your help ❤️

Have you tried posting on Reddit? My guess is that it’s not a font per se but a style that was unique to that particular engraver.
