Has anyone seen much about this? I saw on TT that all the women in Iceland protested on a specific day, and the country shut down (then again, it's a much smaller country). On that same TT, I saw women are encourage to strike/protest and not spend anything on June 24th, the anniversary of when the SC overturned Roe. I'll try to link what I saw on TT... Here is the TT I first saw: www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLmX74Jp/I can't find much about an actual event tho, and when I googled I saw this website action.womensmarch.com/calendars/june-24 and also one reddit post of someone who is trying to organize something in Green Bay. I asked a sincere question: if women are not supposed to work, does that mean you can take a vacation day? I would just hate to do something to harm women, and I suspect many are not in the position to take Leave WO Pay that day. I know for my company, we are supposed to apply for LWOP and it is not often granted. I am totally willing to put in a day of leave tho. But is taking a vacation day making the same point, if I am really getting paid? The person responded yes, what ever I can do to support, and at the very least, not to spend any money on that day...
