Secret Service and DT actually going to jail

At the point he is convicted of a felony, he should no longer receive secret service protection. It isnt like he is going to be put in Gen Pop anyway

Darn right. And should lose any other perks. I even wish somebody would make him stop using the seal, which isn't allowed to be used by anybody but the President--which he is NOT.
It makes me cringe that anybody still calls him "President Trump." I feel that he lost the right to that convention when he tried to overthrow our democracy.

Being protected by the SS isn’t a perk for the person, it is a necessity for the security of the country. It’s not for him, it’s for all of us.

Like him or not (and I don’t), I don’t want him in enemy hands. Think of all the information he knows.

I think the SS should be consulted on prison security and plans. I don’t think they should be prisoners with him, but being prison guards isn’t out of the realm of reasonable solutions for this scenario.

TFG will never go to jail even if convicted. It’s just not going to happen, he’s white, he has convinced people he’s rich, he has influence even if I don’t think he should. He, at worst, will have house arrest.

It’s not like he will accept his sentence and do his time and teach yoga classes in prison while he’s in there. He will whine & carry on & play the victim and appeal & appeal, and just be a general asshat.

On the off chance he spends any time in prison he’s going to be a handful because he hasn’t abided a single rule in his life. Goid luck to the guards& inmates.

It is to me. Our entire prison system is disgusting. Criminals are still humans and should be treated as such. It's horrific that we have created a penal system were that could even happen. It doesn't have to be that way and it shouldn't. Some people do need to be incarcerated for life (but not nearly as many as are) but no one should be murdered for their crimes.

No one says they agreed with his lawyers’ arguments.
No one said they want him elected.
No one said he isn’t a threat to the country.

I highly doubt he'll ever see prison walls and even if he does, it's pretty unlikely he'd be anywhere near what you're thinking of "gen pop". And if he for some reason ended up just thrown into a large prison with no protection amongst a basket of deplorables, he'd have half the prison on his side eating out of his hand. Just facts.
