I just posted about the Groovy Darlin' by Jen Hadfield collection, I will try to delete it. I will post what I said here
They have some of the decades mixed up, most of this looks like the 70's but we weren't saying "groovy" in the 70's also cassette tapes were the 80's. It is more orangey brown than I normally use but being a child of the 70's some of this appeals to me and it would be fun to get a few pieces.

VB - the Prism Paper is calling my name. I think that would be a fun paper to do a 9x12 layout with.
SL - nothing. I like the enamel dots but wont go out of my way to get them
JH - Color Burst. I love papers like that.
BV - nothing
BB -DEFINITELY nothing. Wow. That screams early 2000's

* ETA2: Matt at ACOT - As a follow up to this thread, it appears direct links to ACOT that include a + are still unreliable; I had to replace the + with a %2B in the URL, as previously suggested, to avoid an error message. Yeah, sorry - last time we looked into it and determined that the issue was with the way that ProBoards "affiliate-izes" links automatically. The service that does that doesn't handle plus signs like the rest of the internet does and so it causes issues. If you paste this directly in your browser it should work fine: https://www.acherryontop.com/shop/company/vicki_boutin/line/bold_+_bright I think we'll just have to start using "and" for these lines instead going forward.

Bo Bunny reminds me of Basic Grey. Nice to see a collection that is not mostly flowery. I like a lot of the Shimelle papers for the colors and also the not flowers ones.

Vicki Boutin - Bold + Bright - Yes, please. I'm not overwhelmed by the ephemera/stickers, but I love, love, love the paper. I'm going to end up getting two sheets of a lot of them. I also like the stamp set and her phrase Thickers are always great. I love bright colors.
Shimelle - Reasons To Smile - Again, the ephemera/stickers don't stand out to me but a lot of this paper is great, too. I especially like the backpacks and the plants and I really appreciate that the baking stuff isn't retro. I'm over retro cooking papers. I am definitely a bright color girl- love the colors. I'm so glad they are back to producing Shimelle lines. Jen Hadfield - Groovy Darlin' - Is this her new thing? She had a 70's inspired line previously, too. I like the palette on this one and have lots of photos of my childhood to scrap. Not every paper stands out to me, but there are a few really good ones. I love the denim paper with the flowers. I love the font of the alphabet Thickers, too. Some of this will definitely go into my stash.
Bea Valint - Sketchbook - Nope, nope, nope. I do like the Thickers alphabet. The only piece of paper I'm going to get is that adorable bunny paper. I can't pass up a bunny.
Bo Bunny - Charmed Chronicles - This is fun and a bit different - the black and gold isn't a common color scheme in scrapbook products. I like the heritage type images and a couple of the papers are gorgeous.
I know American Crafts isn't a favorite of everyone but I usually really like their stuff. I just like how bold and happy a lot of it is. (But I used to like Amy Tan, too, and I know that wasn't a lot of people's taste.)

VB - The Prism Paper is my favorite. I added a few papers to my cart.
SL - I added a couple sheets of paper to my cart. If I didn't have so much paper, I would have bought more.
JH - Again, I like some of it.
BV - nothing
BB - NOPE
Also, I just can't justify $6.99 for Thickers. I love them, but I'll continue using my own dies and Cricut.

DANG IT VICKI! I love it, absolutely love it. The cat is tdf. Phrases are good.
There are two pps that would both be perfect for the eclipse! "Light of Day" (which is my fave of the set) and the B-side of "mixed greens".
Well, at least I have something to anticipate that will keep me from buying other stuff!
Does anyone else do this? Get an itch to buy something, but there's nothing currently in stores that is a favourite or must have. Even so, you find yourself adding stuff you don't really love to your cart because you've got that urge to shop? This collection will help me wait.
The Bea Valint is pretty but not my style - too soft and sweet. The Jen Hadfield and Bo Bunny are definitely not my colour schemes.
I like the Shimelle, SO GLAD she is back, and will buy 3 packs of the navy thickers.

I really don't NEED any of this, but...
The Vicki Boutin and Shimelle lines both make me smile. Love bright bold colours. Not a fan of pink, but they balance it so well with all the greens and blues and golds. Love them both and they both look like they would play together nicely. Oh, and I emailed my LSS to see if she was planning to bring in the VB card kit. If she is, I can see myself picking up at least a couple (one for me and one for my niece who comes here to make cards a couple times a year).
The Groovy Darlin' speaks to me, too. Brings back memories of the first house dh & I built in the early 70's and brought all four babies home to. And those shades of navy and rust and greens are some of my favourites. Could certainly use alot of the B sides and some of the A.
Sketchbook is so eclectic/random that I don't see myself seeking it out for anything. Add to that the washed out colours. I guess I can see a couple of the papers used in a baby album?
As for BoBunny, black and gold seems to be a trend this year and I don't see using any of those lines (thinking of the Grad one from Reminisce or somewhere?) unless I had a specific purpose. Another one I won't go looking for...

Love a lot of the VB & Shimelle collections. Lots will be added to my shopping cart.
I really dislike all the brown in the JH collection. Love the theme, hate the colors. I might get the die set, but will compare to the SB.com version of cowgirl/disco ball.
Bea's collection is a doppelgänger for Maggie Holmes. I like a couple sheets but I know I have similar stuff in my stash already so an easy pass here.
I like some of the imagery used in the BB collection, so could see picking up one or two of the cut apart sheets, but overall the color scheme lets this collection down.
On a side note, I'm SO happy AC is bringing their big sticker books back. I love using them to decorate envelopes with.

Check out annual New Year's & graduation collections, for which black/gold/white or cream is the industry-standard color palette (e.g. Reminisce - New Year Celebration, Photoplay - The Graduate, Simple Stories - Graduation).

The only thing that catches my eye is Bea Valint's collection. It looks fun but also a little bit Maggie Holmes Jr. I'm not sure I like it enough to buy more than one of the embellishment packs.

I like Vicki’s line! It seems like it would mix well with some of her other older stuff as well. Like Sugar Rush. I might grab some of this to use and freshen my scraps of that. I don’t have a lot left. I see some repeated popular patterns that she’s used before. With different colors and sizes.
Shimelle - also very cute and looks like it would mix well with her last collection (which I have barely touched. Oops).
JH line isn’t my color scheme but I think it would work well for those 70s orange tinged pics that might be hard to scrap.
The rest I’m not really excited about. Even writing this I can’t remember anything about them and I just looked them up 😂 . Oh, I did like pieces of the collection with black and neutrals. Maybe Bo Bunny?

Vicki's lines are often too bright and saturated for my style and this is no different. I love a couple of little pieces: the fat black cat tied up with balloons in the die cut pack and the little cat with the glasses is adorable. The sticker book actually seems like it has lots of useful things, I love the pages filled with labels. Overall, this is not a line I'll seek out.
I left my thoughts on Shimelle's line in the other thread. There are some b sides I'm excited for, and the navy thickers. I like the pockets and tags pack, and the paperie pack for all the journalling spots. I'll definitely pick up some of this line.
Jen's line is not really my thing. I'll probably add the yellow grid to a future order, and I like that the enamel dots are all hearts but I'd want to see the finished product vs a mock up on these to decide whether the colours are ones I'd actually use.
Bea Valint is way too much like MH for my style. There's maybe one paper I'd consider buying, but the rest is pretty uninspiring.
Bo Bunny has some really good b sides, and I might pick up a couple of these, it's quite different from anything I already own.

As expected, I love the VB collection and I'm hoping she does a workshop with this collection so I am going to hold off ordering anything now. Shimelle's collection is all over the place with icons which of course fits the theme but I can't ever use that many back packs and I don't love all the purple. That said, I am pre-ordering some of the more neutral themed papers and some of the ephemera, enamel dots and the label/journaling stamp set. Jen Hadfield - I'm so found of the all the browns either but managed to pick out some of the less brown papers to use with the stacks of 70s pics I have waiting to be scrapped. Bea V - Ryann - Doppelganger is the perfect description of this collection. Easy pass. Bo Bunny - I like the art deco aspect of some of the papers but I would have a hard time working with them. ] PaperAngel - as always thanks for sharing all the links!

... Also, I just can't justify $6.99 for Thickers. I love them, but I'll continue using my own dies and Cricut. Same. I stopped buying Thickers years ago (although it may not be obvious, given the couple wire locker baskets filled with them in my craft room) due to lack of stickiness, an inadequate amount of my frequently-used vowels & consonants, not always labeled as acid-free/lignin-free/archival, & price per pack (especially considering the above).

I already have quite a bit of shimelles in my cart. It may be an early Mother’s Day/birthday gift I am considering Beas. Just played with the last line at Crop and Create and really liked it. I’m just not sure I actually need it.
All the rest are a pass for me.

None of these particularly appeal to me.
VB - Not much into the color scheme and mixed media looks aren’t my thing right now.
SL - Not much into the color scheme, but I could see myself using selected papers if I have a need. I already have a bit of PE that’s fulfilling this color scheme in my stash.
JH - Although I haven’t used the pieces in my stash from her flower child collection yet, I like it much better than this one. Also, the boots don’t do it for me.
BH - I like the A side of the paper with the bunnies, but I’ve no use for it. Otherwise, no.
BB - No.

I might just be in a grumpy mood, but not much is ending up in my cart (so I don't forget about it later when I decide to order something) A few of the VB cut-aparts, and maybe the sticker book (I like that unicorn) and some of the Bo Bunny which reminds me a little of Basic Grey, but nothing else.

Vicki Boutin Bold + Bright: I love this collection. The rainbow stencil, phrase Thickers, butterfly puffy Thickers, ephemera, washi tape, papers... I love it all.
Shimelle Reasons to Smile: The navy Thickers are a must have (and I will probably buy multiple packs), sticker book, puffy stickers, stamps & dies, papers all speak to me. I am not a huge fan of the backpack imagery, but I love everything else.
Jen Hadfield Groovy Darling: I really don't like this collection. The colors are muddy, and the images are not usable with my photos.
Bea Valint Sketchbook: I am definitely getting Maggie Holmes vibes from this collection but overall, I like it! I will pass on the swan paper (I think I have swan paper from several Maggie Holmes collections already), but the I like the Thickers, ephemera, stickerbook, and puffy stickers.
Bo Bunny Charmed Chronicles: I don't see myself purchasing this collection, except maybe the enamel dots. I don't care for the black/white/gray/gold color scheme.
Is anyone else doing a double-take at the $4.99 price tag for a small package of enamel dots? Yikes.

Oh wow, a Vicki Boutin line that absolutely does not appeal to me, I think that might be a first. But as I said in the Jen Hadfield thread, Groovy Darlin' is extremely my style and I may very well buy the entire line. Nothing else in any of these is grabbing me, which is probably good for my wallet.
