I was in St Cloud yesterday and decided to pop into Craft’s Direct to see what was left. There was still quite a bit of stock. The front gift sections were pretty wiped out and were backfilled with overstock. The artificial flowers/greenery section was pretty decimated. They have aisles of Halloween and Christmas decor which seemed to be a lot of the same thing.
The paper crafting section actually still had some things. Lots of Echo Park 6 x6 pads and 12x12 collections. There were lots of dies, especially Lawn Fawn. Lots of washi. The stamping section seemed quite picked over, but I didn’t look much as I’m not a stamper.
The fabric section was probably half gone. There’s still lots on bolts, but I didn’t look at it very hard as I DO NOT need more! The notions were pretty full. There was yarn, lots of wood blanks, and the adhesive aisle was still pretty stocked.
I’d say that it’s worth going, but you probably don’t need to bring the big car to haul it all home.
ETA: most things were 25-30% off—I forgot to put that!

Thanks for updating! What was the % off on the papercrafting supplies?

I wish I lived close enough to score some deals. Alas, I probably don’t need a thing, truth be told. 😂

Alas, I probably don’t need a thing, truth be told. 😂 I went on Friday after the sale started, and didn't really score deals either. 15% off was ok, but not enough to be like magical Christmasland scrapbook sale, lol. For me it was more like the last goodbye, end of an era kind of thing...I probably won't go up to the St. Cloud area now that CD is closing, sadly.

I texted my aunt right before coming here and must have put it in her text! It’s a pretty standard discount for a normal sale, but I could touch things, which I really like. I was all hot for the new Pooh line, but I didn’t like it much when I actually saw it. But I did buy the EP ladybug line, some Easter paper, and some for birthday cards. I got a can of spray adhesive, which I actually needed.

What did you not like about the Pooh line Basket1lady? Was it kind of like bland in color? I don't even need it , but thought it was cute when I saw it online, but now I guess I really don't need it.

I think it would have been much better to have made those pen details a grey/smoke color.

I went Friday night. I actually found some double sided cardstock from EP that I either overlooked in the past or they didn't have it out. I also got a few albums and page protectors. Spent about $200. We ran out of time so didn't get to look at much of the areas of the store but I will pop in there sometime soon. They are marking things down more every Friday and on their FB page they have shared some of the other things that are lower priced (saying that they just found them in the warehouse? But why didn't they put them out when they got them?). So sad to see the store close. Many of the employees have worked there for years and I know several members of the family that own it.
