No real update on dh's cousin, but the general consensus is that he is deceased somewhere due to his poor health- or that he was murdered by the person he was with (someone who is not him.has been trying to use his debit card and his belongings have been found in the woods). The TBI is now involved and have issued a silver alert for him. If he doesnt show up to get his disability when it hits the bank tomorrow, we will have an answer as to whether he is alive. Geez! How awful. I'm so sorry. ❤️

Oh littlemama , how awful! Hugs to your family, who, despite your cousin's issues, must be so worried. The Birdhouse Lady your quilt sounds gorgeous! Blue and green is one of my favourite colour combos. I won't bother asking you to post a photo. Dinner was jalapeño popper chicken. DD made a comment that she doesn't really like how watery the dish can be, so I thought I'd try something different. This is for you christine58, in case you ever decide to make it! I usually follow this recipe: Jalapeño Popper Chicken and the chicken is put in the dish raw, with the sauce ingredients on top, and it cooks in the oven. So when the juices come out of the chicken as it's cooking, it makes the sauce watery. This time I dusted the chicken fillet (butterflied lengthwise) with flour and seasonings, pan fried them, then mixed the cream cheese, bacon, jalapeños (plus I added some creme fraiche) on top of the chicken, sprinkled shredded cheese on top, and put it under the grill. (Do you call it a broiler?) It was a lot nicer that way, as the sauce wasn't watery. It just took longer.

We had a dump of snow last night and it is expected tonight as well ... usually no biggie since I park underground but they are cleaning the underground parking lot tomorrow so I had to surface park ... my Jeep will be covered in snow tomorrow ... blech!

Five Crowns is so much fun! Dh's aunt had it when we visited a few years ago and then she got hella mad when I beat everyone in every game. 😂😂😂 (she is very competitive and we were all laughing). Last night we were 2 points apart before the last hand. DH won by less than 10 points! It's so much more fun when it's close. I'm so sorry that your DH's cousin still hasn't been found. Praying for y'all.

littlemama - I am so sorry to read about your cousin. I hope you get some definitive answers soon. scrapmaven - the dentist I saw today is pretty sure I will need treatment to fix whatever it is. The referral I have says suspected vascular malformation with hemangioma and asks them to do a CT and take over treatment. It isn't anything dangerous, but will need to be removed if that is what it is. Marina - The clinic I have been referred to is a 'walk in' for public patients, so I plan to go as early as possible tomorrow - today is a Public Holiday here - and hope for the best on the CT. How long it will take to be treated will depend on what they find.
