Good morning,
We're supposed to go look at flooring. We're doing vinyl plank flooring throughout the house and dh needs to start the flooring in the living room. Then it's home to relax and do some minor chores.
Dinner will be the veggie meatloaf crash hot red potatoes and veggie that I was going to make last night. Dh had rechauffe pizza and salad, instead.
What's on your menu?
What is everyone up to today?
May today bring happiness to all!

Happy Tuesday!
It's a slow day at work wrapping up my few remaining client optimizations before reporting begins for the new month tomorrow.
Dinner will be leftover steak and mac & cheese from last night. It was really good last night so I'm looking forward to it tonight.
Hope you all have a great day!

Happy Tuesday! scrapmaven I had the hardest time picking out flooring when we built our house. Have fun! I am working a short work day. After it raining all day yesterday, today is gorgeous. I plan on stopping at the nursery and looking at butterfly bushes. Ours did not survive the winter. I am debating on going to the gym or just walking and working out at home. I must start on thank you cars for my employees. I really need a rainy non work day for that. I think we are going out to eat tonight.

Today was meant to be easy - dentist in the morning for a routine cleaning, then grocery shopping on the way home and chill for the rest of the day. Well, cleaning went smoothly, then dentist came in to do a gum check and asked about a bruise on the inside of my cheek, so she gave me a referral to a specialist dentist. I rang just before lunch and was shocked when she told be to come in at 2:30pm! The appointment was in the city, so 50 minutes each way. They were really thorough, and now I have a referral to a jaw and mouth clinic for a CT, to find out what’s going on - it looks like a blood blister or enlarged blood vessel. It was too late to go there today, so I’ll be there first thing Thursday.
At least tomorrow is a holiday here, so I can have some downtime.
Dinner tonight is lamb that I have marinating in Shawarma spices. I will make a cous cous salad as well.

I have some errands to run then will continue cleaning up my craft room as I finished the last friendship book. DH and I have been playing a new card game, Five Crowns, and plan to take it on our trip as we have long layovers. It's a lot of fun. Dinner is undecided at this point.

Dinner will be the veggie meatloaf crash hot red potatoes and veggie that I was going to make last night. I get the gist, but I'm wondering here with this sentence how autocorrect got the best of you. I promise this is no criticism from a one-handed typist. I've been sending random emojis and inserting commas everyhwere on my phone because apparently that's super close to the space bar. So no judgment. LOL! I'll be making a spinach/artichoke/bean soup tonight. I'm having the absolute worst time sitting still today. I have a meeting in half an hour and then another at 2. I was hoping they'd cancel the 2:00 meeting. I'm leading the 11:30 and the thoughts of reschedule vs. just get it over with are fighting in my head. I do not want to do it. I don't feel like I'm in any shape, mentally, to do so today. With that said, I feel like I want to do something fun, but that's unlikely to happen either. I have a number of things I actually need to do or would like to do and it is getting super frustrating that I cannot do these things.

I plan on stopping at the nursery and looking at butterfly bushes. I love how pretty these are. I have wanted one in a very specific spot in my yard but when we went to dig, there were roots everywhere. There had to have been a tree removed before we moved in from that spot. Would be a perfect place to put one too. They were really thorough, and now I have a referral to a jaw and mouth clinic for a CT, to find out what’s going on - it looks like a blood blister or enlarged blood vessel. Well this sounds a little scary. You think you'll be able to get in soon?

jeremysgirl - it is a university clinic and is just walk up and wait for the CT. I’ll go in as early as possible on Thursday with a book and my knitting and get it done. hutchfan - the dentist who I saw at the specialist practice told me it wasn’t a serious or bad problem, just an annoyance that has to be seen to.

jeremysgirl , I forgot the commas and it sounds like a disgusting casserole thing. I hope that your day turns out the way you want. If you have time and need to cancel then I hope you'll do so. No one has to know the real reason. Sending you calming vibes today. sueg , may it be something easy to manage that doesn't require any action. You have a tribe who has your back. cadoodlebug , that's another good meme. Cute. stormsts, It's so good to see you here after the busy season. Phew. Tell your staff to enjoy their new cars. Hehe. Tearisci , dinner sounds comforting and yummy. Enjoy it.

I have been out to exercise class...my DF who was away for 5 months is FINALLY home!! We walked 4+ miles yesterday and did the class today!!! I stopped at the market on my way home to replenish the salad ingredients and the wine🤣
scrapmaven I am anxious to hear how Mr Scrapmaven likes the meatloaf!!! That is on the menu for tonight as it makes enough for multiple meals...leftover meatloaf is always good!!
I will be making a few BD cards and working on a baby album this afternoon.

As the afternoon went by, I started to feel icky. I just went home and sat on the recliner. Didn't even have dinner! I feel better today. Hopefully it was just a random thing.
Maybe I will do the stir-fry tonight. Otherwise we will figure out what to do when I get home.

It's a beautiful sun shinny day in my neck of the woods! I am hoping to do a little something in the yard this afternoon. After the winter we had, the yard is a wreck. Dinner tonight is a shrimp, cauliflower rice and coconut milk concoction. I have made it before, and it is really tasty. AussieMeg I didn't want to bump yesterday's thread but, the quilt I made is shades of blues and greens with three woodland animals. A bear, a deer, and a rabbit. karenlou I am glad you are enjoying your time with your friend. Friends are the best, don't you agree!?!

Dinner this week is meatloaf and some veggies.
I'm upset, though, because Bessie has gotten sick a few more times recently. Took her to the vet Friday and they said she sounded good. She's gotten sick a few times today, so I called them and they had availability to get her in tomorrow for x-rays and an ultrasound to see if something else is going on, or if she's just eating stuff she shouldn't off of the floor. We vacuum as much as we can, so I'm not sure what's going on. Just worried about my little queen.

I'm so sorry rymeswithpurple. Have you considered allergies? We had to switch to a prescription diet for my Bree. Her issues were not vomiting but the other way stomach issues show themselves.

jeremysgirl Definitely hadn't considered that -- she's been eating the same wet food for a while. When I went last week, they said to hold off on the dry food for now (I had gotten her some senior food). Hers has been all vomiting, though. Poor thing.

They told us she had allergies and needed a limited ingredient diet. So that's what we fed her. She has skin allergies too. But then all of a sudden a couple of years ago, they got markedly worse. We did all sorts of testing. They couldn't tell us anything. So they suggested this hypoallergenic diet. Well the bad stuff stopped. She started gaining weight again. She had lost 4 pounds and she's not a big cat. Things still aren't "solid" but she's improving. She will be 11 this summer.

Bess was about 2 1/2 when we got her, so we think she's 11 1/2, 12-ish now. She was about 10 lbs when we got her, and she's down to about 7.6 now. I just hope we can get some answers and help her live a great life. She's been spoiled since the day we got her, and I can't imagine not having her.

Looking for a new rain proof/wind proof jacket to take on my trip in the fall. I saw a few today but really didn’t want to spend over $100 in one. I guess I need to keep looking. Also purchased some trip insurance today so things are falling into place.
DH has an opportunity to go on an ATV weekend in a couple weeks. He’s hoping his back will let him ride that long. He hasn’t made a commitment yet but I’m pretty sure he will go.
Supper tonight is chicken burgers.

No real update on dh's cousin, but the general consensus is that he is deceased somewhere due to his poor health- or that he was murdered by the person he was with (someone who is not him.has been trying to use his debit card and his belongings have been found in the woods). The TBI is now involved and have issued a silver alert for him. If he doesnt show up to get his disability when it hits the bank tomorrow, we will have an answer as to whether he is alive.
