May 2024 DONNA Challenge. Come Craft with Me

donna was a long time Pea who was taken from us long before her time. Her last scrapbooking effort had been to complete her kids' albums before time ran out. Many Peas, coordinated by jenjie and myboysnme , helped with that project. A Pea we have not heard from in a long while, kiwigirl , set up this challenge to keep DONNA's memory alive.

So now we honour Donna's memory by getting our own photos into scrapbooks while WE have time to do that. Each month we set a challenge to get those photos glued onto pages. And we also have a theme

Theme for this May '24 DONNA challenge: Come Craft with Me!  The first Saturday in May is interNational Scrapbooking Day (iNSD) when the paper industry and those of us who play with their products celebrate our craft with special events and sales.  So why not use some of those goodies to celebrate with a card or a LO related to crafting?  Dig out those photos of the last crop you attended, or snap a pic of your craft room.  Journal about your crafty goals or something you have already accomplished.  Decorate it all with those cute little diecut tape runners or paint brush stickers.  No need to limit the topic to paper crafts.  Share your memories of quilts and blankets made with love by people no longer with us, or your own yarn and/or sewing machine adventures.

Friday I am attending an art festival at the elementary school, as many of you will be in the next few weeks.  Snap some pic's there of the creations--and the proud creators!

There are sew many crafting puns that could be used on cards, aren't there?  Try a few, just for the fun of it!
