Has anyone used the inexpensive acrylic craft paint with a stencil? Any tips?
I don’t have any silver ink or paste and I’m really looking for a shiny silver option so I was going to use silver craft paint on one of the layers. I thought I’d apply it with a foamed foam applicator but that’s as far as I’ve gotten.

I think with gel printing they use acrylic paints and stencils. And mix media too. So you should be safe, just wash the stencil right away. And the sponge is a good idea. Let us know how it goes.

I've done this! I used paint for some Halloween invites and the sponge applicator worked so well! You just have to make sure you don't get too much paint or it globs - I would dip it, then pat on a paper towel, then do the stencil. The paint washed off easily even when dry. Highly recommend! Have fun
