UPDATE:
Well, for a 12 vendor, 4 hour, rainy/windy/humid event, I sold 24 items for $500, including 2 special orders! It was fun!

I had asked the HOA on our neighborhood FB page if the small businesses in the neighborhood would need a permit to set up tables at the amenities to get the word out about our neighbors and what products they provide. People are always asking for recommendations for things, so I thought that it would be a fun way to get to know what we have available near home.
The president of the HOA saw my post and messaged me asking if it would be okay if they took over the planning and advertising. I said absolutely! That kept me from having to organize it, the booth spots are free, as well as the advertising. So, yes please!
The day has come. There will be 12 vendors this time around. I’m sure there won’t be a huge turnout, as there is another larger event going one in the next town, but some is better than none!
They will take feedback, and if it seems to have gone well, they will do it again in October! So fun! I can get my feet wet, and all
it will cost me is my time and supplies. 😁
