Well of course Republicans in red states have to double back and say that of course THEIR elections were true and valid. It's only when Democrats win that they claim there was fraud.

It stinks that they have to specifically state this because of another's lies.
It's also always made me roll my eyes that the other politicians who lied with TFG never questioned the down-ballot wins that put them into office (because "everybody" who voted for Biden "must have" done a straight democrat ticket, I guess?). It's pretty insulting to the intelligence of the voters.

It's pretty insulting to the intelligence of the voters. THIS - it irritates me so much, because it invalidates every other race on the ballot. It's also incredibly insulting to Supervisors of Elections. My cousin was SOE for a small county during the infamous 2000 election recount in Florida, and she was so proud that no votes were counted incorrectly in her county, but I know it was really stressful for her. |

See, THAT ticks me off, too--a nice person volunteering to help with a civic duty gets slimed in his wake, too. How despicable TFG is, messing up so much for so many just for his own, personal gain. WHY would somebody want a person of that kind of character in high office?!? |

WHY would somebody want a person of that kind of character in high office?!? Well, I agree my cousin is nice, but SOE is not a volunteer position. They are elected in Florida and they are full time jobs with a salary and benefits (including participation in Florida's Retirement System, the FRS). While it's not true for all county-wide elected officials, for many, it's one where once you get elected you can hold the job as long as you'd like, as they are rarely voted out of office. Combined with higher contributions to the FRS, county elected officials can make out pretty well. It’s one reason why you'll see former state legislators in Florida run for county office after they term out (state offices have term limits, county ones do not) - plus they don't have to relocate to Tallahassee for months at a time. |

Ballots that were sent out unsolicited, many getting more than one. |
