Well, someone must have whispered to a lot of the dinner peas that pork is what's for dinner tonight, as we had it too...ours was baked pork chops and mashed potatoes. Love all the Laugh-In references (I'm also old enough to remember it LOL)! I was in elementary school (4th or 5th grade, or maybe even 3rd? I don't remember) and most of my friends were not allowed to watch it so I would recount some of the jokes to them the next day at school. I'm sure there were a few that we were scratching our heads over why they were supposed to be funny - we were all pretty naive. cadoodlebug, I love today's cartoon! Pretty much sums up how I feel on our third (yes 3) straight day of rain...ugh!

Total first world problem: used some of the wipes to get the remaining sticky off of me from my monitor and it made me itchy again. š The things we do for our health!

I was so excited about The Birdhouse Lady 's delicious anniversary dinner, that I forgot to tell y'all about my fabulous dinner! MIL whipped up a lazy six course feast for us: 1st course: bread with feta 2nd course: fig, feta, olive, cherry tomato, grape, capsicum bake 3rd course: arancini 4th course: chicken with cherry tomatoes, mushroom, prosciutto 5th course: prawn risotto 6th course: cannoli filled with orange ricotta and mascarpone, dipped in chocolate and pistachios, with fresh berries AMAZING!! The only thing she didn't make from scratch is the bread.

Does she just cook all day? That looks amazing. Pretty much! Although she is a very fast cook, so something like this would take me about 8 hours hahaha and she would do it in half the time. She loves to cook for people, it's her love language. And the best thing is, she usually cooks too much, so I always end up with heaps of leftovers!

PLurker and lucyg - can't say I have ever had a bad meal at Culver's. My sister loves it too and I do the teasing on Facebook for her!
